Join Sammy Hagar as he searches for the perfect rum cocktail! In this third episode, Sammy hits up Emerli Lagasse's restaurant Delmonico Steakhouse at The Venetian Resort and Casino in Las Vegas! Rumor has it that mixologist, Max Solano makes the best cocktail using Sammy's Beach Bar Rum in the world and Sammy aims to find out. SAMMY'S ISLAND JUMPER RECIPE:
1 spoon ginger puree
1 oz fresh lime juice
5 drops Bitter End Jamaican Jerk Bitters
.5 oz Orgeat syrup
.75 oz Kronan Swedish Punsch
1.5 oz Sammy's Beach Bar Rum
2 oz Lindemans Framboise Beer
Top with skewer of maraca cherry and candied ginger, and a spring of mint

No kidding....as I'm about to start prepping for street tacos with my 13 yr old son, I come across this video and suddenly, I'm cranking Sammy Hagar's "Livin' It Up" album. I get cracking on the flanks steak that've been marinating for 2 hours, chop some onion, lettuce, cilantro (all fresh ingredients lol). That's when it happened.....the unconscionable........ My son turns to me, looks me dead in the eye and while turning the volume down, states that it's too loud. My response: (after an unbelievable amount of shock, I say) Sammy can NEVER be too loud! You're grounded. I think I've failed as a parent LOL. And then I went and bought Sammy's book "Are We Having Any Fun Yet?"

Dude, Sammy. I'm sure it's delicious...BUT it really seems like a lot of work. Making the perfect bone-in rib eye seems a LOT less timely, and a lot more satisfying. Crack a ice cold beer and BAM!. That's the perfect combo.
