I'm 50 years old this year born back in 1972 and the 80s were the best time to be a teenager. All of us around in the Era or truly blessed by God in so many ways. Sammy, love ya brother your so down to earth and you was Van Halen in my opinion!!!! Def leppard what else needs to be said other than thank you, thank you and Sammy for so many great years of music and memories and I wish I could go back to the 80s and the simpler times of being a 16, 17, or 18 year old kid with the only worry being which girl you was taking out that weekend. If you guys really really and truly new what yall meant to all the teenagers of the 80s I believe it would be unimaginable for you. Thank you guys for all the years!! Oh and by the way now even my own daughter and now her son (CAN'T BELIEVE I GOT A GRANDSON NOW) love the music of our generation, she said "dad i would loved to have grown up in the 80s."and all I could say is yes you would!!! Lol

Saw the original Def Leppard (with Pete Willis) open for Ozzy when Randy Rhodes was alive, August 29 1981. We were up close, and as young guitar players, it was a great show . Def Leppard was from my age group. Ozzy opened with Crazy Train and started to puke and ran offstage . The band played the whole song with no vocals and no Ozzy. Saw VH up close at the same venue in 78 . Life changing, seeing Ed play the white and black guitar and hearing his amps at age 17.

also people gotta understand that Shaq being the size he is had to work twice as hard as everyone else cuz he had to move all that size around, it takes energy, carbs, sweat, it's no joke, so when Shaq plays a full game you have to understand its like playing 3 games over everyone else so for him to say money over the game he just payed so much I don't blame him, I always felt for the guy having to play the entire game like that but being a true sport about it he has a huge heart as well...

This can't be overemphasized. I saw Shaq at a boxing match walking by regular people he was a giant amongst men at 7' 1", 324 LBS. Micheal Keaton walked by Shaq he just came out with Batman and he at 5" 9" looked like a little kid in comparison. Mind-boggling running up and down the court with an extra 100 lbs compared to the other players.
