I thought you’d like to know. Awhile back I ordered 7 patterns and various 9x12 squares for the members of a sewing group I just joined. Everyone picked up their patterns and chose their combos and I encouraged each person to watch your tutorial. We met last Monday (June 6) all I got were wonderful comments about your tutorial. You were direct, clear, and they enjoyed your style. Thanks

I can’t believe I only discovered your channel TODAY! I ran to check the pattern I recently purchased and it’s yours! So excited to make the Tourist Tote now. I don’t see a video on it but many of your other videos will give me the info I need. I’m a visual learner so your tutorials make a huge difference. I will go purchase several of your patterns without fearing understanding how to make them. Sooooo excited! Bring on the bag making. Thank you!

Really enjoyed making this wallet! I was so surprised that I had great success on my domestic, just had to use a 90/14 needle on the last step. My materials were quilter’s cotton and a fairly thin vinyl for the accent pieces.

I made this more difficult than I had to-I’m away from home using my small travel machine. I definitely think that this would have been easier had I waited until I was home to use my regular machine. But that being said, I think my wallet turned out pretty well! Thanks!

@37725503 жыл бұрын
just purchased the pattern.Looks like lots of fun! And that was a very helpful tutorial, I'm sure. Do you see any downside in using cork for the center coin purse? Have you thought about using cork for the entire make? Many thanks.
@SewManyCreations3 жыл бұрын
As long as your machine can handle it, you can use cork for any part. Personally I wouldn’t put cork inside just because I hate to waste it inside. I’d rather show it on the outside!
@37725503 жыл бұрын
Ha! You are so right about "wasting" cork. I just thought if using scraps it might work. Have you tried using waterproof canvas for lining? Thanks again.
@SewManyCreations3 жыл бұрын
@@3772550 You could definitely use WPC for the inside!

Can you make a tutorial for this but for the parts of the accent pieces, use cotton fabric instead? I know it says its not suitable for cotton fabric for (B), but I have a lot of cotton fabric and no cork...

I'm having a problem with pattern E. The instructions to cut are 7x 4 but later it says to taper it down to 7x6. I can't find where in the instructions I am making a mistake??? Help please
@SewManyCreations3 жыл бұрын
Piece E is not tapered on the short sides. The bottom edge is tapered as shown on page 2 of the pattern, at the bottom. The height does not change. Please feel free to email me if you have any further questions 😊

Make sure you ever snip the new striped zippers!! They will fray! I know from forgetting that once!! Not a fun fix.
