Thanks for this whole series. It reminds me of my first trip to Taiwan where I fell in love with the scenery, the food and the people. Returning there later this year and assuming the Gorge will still be closed, and was trying to determine an alternative, and for various reasons I don't think Alishan will work out. This video has me leaning towards Sun Moon Lake, especially since it looks like there are some nature day trips like Xitou park nearby

I visited Alishan some years ago but not Sun Moon Lake, a pity. It looks like a great place to visit and just dropping by for a touch n go kind of visit wouldn’t do justice. It’s worth to stay a couple of days there. It will be on my list

I am glad that I'm able to see Sun Moon Lake through your video. As a Chinese person we've been taught about this lake since we were very young, but I was never able to really see how it looks like. Now I see it. It's very beautiful and I think the Qiandao (or thousand-island) Lake in Hangzhou, China is very much alike. It is amazing. Thank you.

There is a special Oolong tea in Taiwan and it is called 「凍頂烏龍茶」。 Just pour the hot water into pot and let the tea simmered in the pot。 There is a breeze after taking a sip。 The tea leaves are grown in the mountain (if I am not mistaken)。 I received a box of it as a gift。
