I had the blessing of being able to see this same storm all the way down in West Virginia of all places... I never knew Aurora could be so colorful until that night! You captured it beautifully! I would love to go to Iceland and experience it again someday.

I remember i was at home in norhern Italy that night, and in 20 minutes, as i saw the data online, i went from pajamas, straight to winter jacket and with my camera to my home mountains. It was not as in Iceland obviously, but seeing red/purple sky with naked eyes was crazy.

Great video! I saw 8 minutes and thought it was longer for a KZbin cinematic. Then it ended and I was like wait that was 8 minutes already! I’m going to Iceland next summer for the first time with my dad. I’ve wanted to go for forever! Not because of the popularity it’s gained among filmmakers and photographers but because of my favorite movie the Secret Life of Walter Mitty 2014. And now right after I graduate college and before I leave my parents home becoming my own man, I will get to experience a wonderful father son trip with him to Iceland. I’m so excited for our Iceland trip! I’m a learning and growing filmmaker, I get better every day!
