hey SAM i forgot to mention, good way to keep the jumps from getting muddy, i live in a area of the states thats wet a lot. we have some big jumps built and had that problem. so what we did and never had a issue since. we dug out the lows and between jumps and filled it with 9 inches of 7 inch stone then we topped it off with fine crushed stone and covered it with a clay and loam combo. you can ride in a downpour and still speed through. it worked so well i did it to my 700ft driveway. drains so good its the dream. keep up the GREAT vids my whole family cant wait for sundays and wednesdays!!!

I've been running single speed for a few years now; - No broken chains - No bent derailleurs - No bent hangers - No shifting adjustments - No need for an expensive dropper post - No under-bar levers peeling skin off my thumb knuckles - No drivetrain noise I call it the problem free bike.
@vxsr332 жыл бұрын
why would it negate the need for a dropper post? I'm new to bikes
@sled_everything2 жыл бұрын
@@vxsr33 Pedaling while seated is only useful at a specific cadence. Otherwise, it's easier to stand. Single speed riding very rarely gives you the perfect cadence for sitting. I slam my seat for all trail riding, and raise it with the quick release when I'm on the road. There's other ways to do it, but in my opinion the dropper post has no benefit on a single speed.

@MaximRecoil Жыл бұрын
@@canadianpatriot14 "Just change the gear ratio" How do you figure that would help? Having only one gear ratio is inherently a compromise. If you go with a higher gear ratio for more top speed then you make it even harder to pedal up hills, and if you go with a lower gear ratio to make it easier to pedal up hills, you lose top speed. The whole point of having multiple gears is so that you don't have to compromise.
