I've now given up buying full price Sample Libraries; I just wait and save 80%. I've spent $50,000 in the past 25 years and got virtually nowhere (profit-wise) with a few exceptions...so now it's still a hobby with benefits.

I predict that the price of sample libraries wil drop considerably, (and some may even become obsolete) once more and more producers begin to incorporate A.I. sounds, samples and music into their productions. THE WRITING IS ON THE WALL.

That's an interesting point, although I think that's still a ways away. At the moment, most AI music is PERFORMED well, but is quite generic (although you can say the same about human music). People are gonna have to learn to create auditory stories again; we are gonna have work on songwriting to stand out from the mass. Side note: I'd love to see physical modeling or some kind of sampling/modeling hybrid to improve the workflow of needing half a dozen key switches to make a passable song with some of these instruments.

Well the price can’t drop any lower or none of us devs will be able to make money at all. It’s already damn near impossible as things are now. But perhaps the industry is simply dying.

@@Clasam09 I suppose it is for someone with more of a coding background, or more financial resources. But I’m a musician first and developer second, and I focus on unique, performance based instruments within the technology of traditional sampling. Quirky stuff just doesn’t sell like it used to.

Hey Steven, the tools that I use that have some "filler word" removal feature are timebolt and premier pro. Both paid apps offer transcription services and the ability to search (PP) and remove or (TB) has an add on service with a filler word list to detect and automatically remove the words. for Premier just do a YT search for a tutorial for Timebolt check this page out - help.timebolt.io/feature-guide/umcheck#how-do-i-remove-filler-words-and-phrases hope this was helpful
