For a guy who is not a drummer-you are pretty good! Fun ideas with the pads

Hey Mr BeneZone 0-127 is a midi numbering protocol. PS Just to say it might be worthwhile looking around for a few stomp triggers. They are an ancient method of triggering used way back before the year of our Lord 1999.

Do you have any videos of you playing acapella with no reverb/effects? Just free stylin'?

Hello, I just bought a yamaha mx61, after seeing all the cool stuff you're doing with this keyboard and I was wondering if you could tell me what keyboard amp you have, or give me advice on which one I should get, I've try with my guitar amp, and as intended the sound is really bad :s Thank you

I have a video on that topic actually, guitar vs keyboard amp. Yeah guitar amps can sound bad. I have a Roland KC 100 keyboard amp which is awesome. They don't make it anymore but they make similar amps. They are kind of expensive though.

I have it's bigger brother - the Sample Pad Pro. It connects up to my laptop and it is recognised as a storage device. You literally drag and drop your samples into the main folder. THERES some conditions though; •samples MUST BE 16 bit NO MORE than 44.1Khz. You can use stereo or mono samples. I recommend using mono samples and unless you really need super pristine high end - snares and kicks sample rate can be reduced to 32khz 16 bit mono. Saves a ton of time loading. Or if course, just format the SD card and slot that into the laptop. Also, there's a few response curves in the set-up menus - it's an idea to to play and check each one to find "the one". As I set mine up, the front pads are set to a 5 sensitivity, the rear ones 3 and shoulder ones at 2-3. External pads are usually set low to prevent false triggers. Works well
