This is really amazing. Melodica also sounds great. Can you tell me please which Microphone do you use for melodica? And also which device do you use for looping? Thank you so much in advance.

Thanks for this great demo. I've been shopping for a new keyboard, and the MX61, (just a few more keys,) seems to be my obvious choice. It will be a huge upgrade from what I'm currently using. (1986 Casio CT-6000)

I play bass in a country band snd have a few moments where it is possible for me to play keys. This helped me decide that it is possible and even easier to play and more musical

how are you running your sound? I am a musician that is wanting to dive into the keyboard/synth realm. What kind of amp are you using? tone is great or was this direct into computer or interface?
@BoneZoneАй бұрын
I'm pretty sure I had this plugged directly into an audio interface, which will always get a nice clear sound in my opinion.

WHAT??! Why we need a TRS cable connect to device? :D

Great video. Also, if you want a gig bag/case for it, the Reface series case would wotk fine. For the price, this keyboard is amazing. The sound quality of the tones are great for the price. The features snd capability, and portability, use as s DAW keyboard controller is so versatile. But if you really want to see what can be done with this, my friend, Jazz Pianist Masataka is the absolute Master of this Minikeys. He has several, and many videos often playing with two or three of them, or with other keyboards, as well as other great performance and demo/comparison videos. 👍 He is very entertaining, too.

Sick vids! Gotta quick question though: What cable do you use to connect it to a guitar pedal? TS or TRS? Anyway, hope you're having a good one.
@BoneZone2 ай бұрын
I use whatever I have at the moment really. I think I'm mostly using TS cables these days but I've used trs before too. Thanks!

I play for a Blues group. At one of our big outside concert gigs, the drummer was late. After the first song without drums, it dawned on me, Hay why don't I play my MX 61 drum patch since we have a great guitar player for the chords. I played the keyboard drums for the next three songs and after the concert, the sound guys went crazy saying 'Man you could have kept going and took his check too because those drums in that keyboard sounded so real and great out there in their sound mix!

I've been using "Trombotine" cream with "Superslick Professional Plus slide treatment". The Super... Pro... slide treatment is a small bottle of thin silicone oil. I've been using this combination on my bass trombone slide for many, many years. The thin silicone oil makes the cream just a bit more slippery. For a few years now, I've been curious about the Yamaha slide lubricant but never bought it to try it out. You've got my curiosity up, so I'm going to try the Yamaha Trombone Slide Lubricant and compare. And, by the way, you are absolutely right about the tube of Trombotine lasting a long time. My current tube has lasted me over two years!

Your videos on the PSS A-50 motived me to buy one. No regrets, I am a beginner and I have so much fun, it allows to easily put together a decent tune. It's also fine to practice piano on the go. It fits in a small space, it's cheap, so the Wife Approval Factor is high
