My wife and I take an evening walk around our grove to see if there's anything ready to pick from our private stash. Then we stop and have our dinner of:
Maritious Lychee
Mahachanook Mango
Edward Mango (or maybe coconut cream but I'm leaning toward Edward)
Seedling Mango
Hog Plum
We also picked two varieties of sapodilla one of which is Makok and the other I'm not sure, maybe Alano?

I hope you had a better year for avocados than you did mangoes. Paul from fruitful Trees said a lot of people had a bad mango year, I was hoping and praying you would all have a great harvest. Will lychees grow well in containers?

Avocado question My 3-year-old from seed tree bloomed this year. And boy did it bloom, and it has set tons of fruit. Right now, they're. anywhere from a BB to the size of a kidney bean. I know you must wait until the oils come in before you pick them, but how long does it usually take for an avocado fruit.to get to maturity and can be picked.?

Hi Babette, It's different for each variety and since seed grown are unique you have to figure it out using the method I discuss in this vid: kzbin.info/www/bejne/nXeYiGeEZ7aKhZYsi=AaUjGXU289RnAaj9

My sapodillas are ready to pick when there is very little sap coming out of it. I don't scratch them anymore. I just wiggle it a bit from side to side. If the tree lets it go, then it's definitely ready.
