i think i probably have seen all the electribe demos/videos on youtube and this my friend is the one of the best demos ive ever seen. Not just for the elecribe, but even as a general demo. Showing a proper creative process was really good since thats always missing from %99 of demos anyways. Great video. Thnx for sharing.

Thank you so much! I have an Electribe playlist of tutorials, in which I only cover unique, not-covered-elsewhere material about these machines. If you have an Electribe of any kind, please check the playlist out! And thank you so much for taking the time to watch, and for the kind words. :)

I literally freeze for a second when i heard good ole Rob singing! Haha what a cool thing to do in electronic music.

Haha, yes. Including that acapella was kind of an afterthought, and the execution is pretty terrible, to be honest. But listening back, it was just too fun to be omitted. Thank you for watching!

Never knew it was so direct in doing them fx.I was gonna get one 3 ys ago but since I've got electribe 2 and minilogue o.And Tb3 -to me I can make psych so quickly, bass and scatter.

I also have other Electribes. I've been holding off on getting a TB-3, for some stupid reason, haha. They're so cheap! Nonetheless, the ESX/EMX are literally the finest performance sequencers the world has ever seen, and I mean that without reservation. If only Korg had reissued them with true upgrades; 1gb of ROM, polyphony, multiple keyboard parts, multiple outs, live looping/overdubbing, HQ 24-bit FX, master limiter, a proper slice engine and timestretching, well.. Then we'd have a monster on our hands! Thank you for watching. :)

I bought the Esx new back in the early 2000s unfortunately about 10 years ago the buttons stopped working and I haven’t been able to find anyone to fix it 😢
@danieklerr Жыл бұрын
Dang, that's too bad. :( It's not unusual for the buttons to wear out, and eventually stop working altogether. There were several companies selling the button kits for a while, but they are all gone now. If I were you, I'd keep an eye out on Ebay for a set, or for an ESX that is broken. Thank you for watching!

This randomly popped up on my home page and I'm not disappointed! As an electronic producer in his 20s - and therefore filthy zoomer who managed to skip the entire world of analog synths - it's dope to see DAWless production from someone who clearly understands the previous generation of tools.
@danieklerr Жыл бұрын
Filthy zoomer! Haha, thank you for the kind words. Some of the most amazing music ever made is being crafted by the youngest musicians. This is such an amazing time to be alive. I appreciate you taking the time to watch!

@@danieklerr Very welcome! It is indeed a crazy time to be alive as a listener of music. I don't know if you've ever heard of an Australian producer down this way named Flume, but he's an awesome example of people really pushing their tools and imagination beyond traditional limitation. ✌

Can u get them sh sounds behringer psych fx by using flanger?
@danieklerr5 ай бұрын
I do love the watery flanger, and the resampling is where it's at. You can use single-cycle wavs in the ESX, which really does give some great acid lines. But the tubes are the downfall, with regard to sound quality, in my opinion.

I miss it already. Left the ex wife and Got divorsed last year and had to sell some stuff to move on. The ESX was one of them. Your vids are awesome 👍 maybe you should make a performance only vid along with the informative, so you could put it in a music playlist 🥳 Cool performance 👍👍👍 Greetz from Denmark

I'm really sorry. Divorce the among the hardest things I've ever had to experience. I wish you both the best.
