Annette was so down-to-earth and a truely extremely talented actress, singer, dancer. Annette was so respectful of Walt Disney and agreed not to show her navel in her movies. So many famous stars are so full of themselves but Annette was never like that. She was respectful and just such a kind personality. I just feel such sadness that her health situation and how difficult her later years became for her physically with MS. Rest in peace for all time Annette.

The Disney Family Album is obviously very old and one of my favorite Annette features! So interesting seeing Annette cabitz with Mrs. Funicello who we have heard so much about around the kitchen table in Encino. Annette just has that magic associated with her name. Pixie dust. Babes in Toyland was the thing that did it for me when I was a child. I remember reading the liner notes of the soundtrack to my mother back when: "Beautiful, young indeed, Annette Funicello..." My mother knew to correct me with the proper wordage of, "Beautiful, young NINETEEN, Annette Funicello..."
