6:10 the meat cleaver does actually have some use in overtime mode runs where you JUST start out in overtime and play through it. story boss drops spawn in that mode, but bosses that you may have killed in your run such as adam or cliff's drops don't. still only lasts a maximum of 90 hits with criminal biology, but that's better than a katana or battle axe.

My favourite book is world news due to how I always try to save everyone each playthrough and it’s PP boost just makes the best source for PP even better followed by engineering as the 4X4 and lead pipe are the weapons I use the most when I’m not using the small chainsaw followed by criminal biography for how common blades are and an honourable mention for cooking as quickstep is my favourite mixed drink and it’s time span is extremely short without the book

I beat dead rising when I was a kid and got the true ending, and when I went back as an adult I was actually the guy who did zombie genocider first because I really just wanted the mega buster. Yeah I know about the triple book chainsaw and the mannequin torso but that’s not what it was about!

I realized how annoying that'd get, and figured just say "PP" over and over was funny enough as it is. Future videos will have a proper ending sequence. New game advice for players: Do the zombie genocider first with both zombie xp books to get to around level 36/37(probably higher) and get any ending to unlock the real mega buster. Second playthrough get the world news book for additional xp relating to survivors and try to save all 50 of them, give survivors shotguns and uzis over any other weapon as they will have a good crowd control weapon when they're in groups(shotguns in particular are extremely useful I had about 4 survivors in my group with shotguns and they cleared Al fresca plaza for me they're more likely to shoot at zombies when you are close to them and stationary you can only get 3 shotguns on the map at any time and all 3 are in the gun shop but you can get 5 if you pick up the shotgun in the intro when the survivor Brian dies and one from kindell if he dies), always have at least 2 Queens on you in case survivors get overwhelmed and the bosses can be killed really quickly using the mega buster. Don't pick up the brainwashing tips book it makes survivors too aggressive and jump headfirst into a horde instead try keep them all together with shotguns and uzis, I prefer to use the engineering book with the sledgehammer to clear entire hordes instead of the triple chainsaw as I have more inventory space left as opposed to having to carry 3 books and a weapon when I can just carry 1 book and weapon. Unlock the wonderland plaza shortcut and use it as much as possible, this helps avoid fighting the convicts when escorting survivors but you can kill them with 1 shot with the mega buster if you want. Avoid Al fresca plaza at all costs when escorting survivors as it is too densely packed with zombies, the same goes for the North plaza. Hope this helps

I definitely don't agree with the health books being so high up if you're not going for 7 day survivor. I feel like they're totally redundant in the normal game. Yeah if you get both books than your food will heal double, but they're also taking up two inventory slots... which could've been filled with 2 more healing items and you would've healed 150% instead of just 100% lol I think the only one normally worth keeping is Survival on a normal run personally, but I typically like to play it a bit risky with my health items and just load up on skateboards and weapons lmao

Seeing that Kent can be offed with a single shotgun blast to the head if you fire before he makes it toward you and instigates the side quest - doesn't that make his health bar less?

Kent can die from a single shotgun blast because he's a survivor at that point. Any survivor dies instantly to heavy blows to the head (sledgehammer, bowling ball, shotgun). You can test this with Paul, as he has 5 health blocks but still goes down instantly to a shotgun to the head when, and only when, he's saved. If you want further proof, I made a video defeating Carlito with literally everything.
