A lot of the spelling mistakes were caused by confusion between the L and R sounds. In Japanese they're both merged into the same sound, so Japanese speakers mix them up a lot when they're dealing with English text.

My guess for the treadmills is that they were used as debug/testing to teleport to different areas of the game quickly. And then they removed that functionality for the vegas demo.

Or maybe it was a slightly awkward way to communicate that the treadmills weren't working as treadmills yet. It didn't seem like they were rolling like they normally do in the video.

3:44 here's your actual answer: this is probably because interaction points can be programmed to do different things. the interaction point of an item is programmed to attach it to franks hand and load any weapon data, for instance. before you pick it up, it's just an object. this is most likely on a hard-coded level, so to that extent, these treadmills' interaction points were probably programmed as "doors" as placeholders, since they hadn't programmed them for the special interaction of "start the treadmill" yet.

Even though some of labels and signs had engrish or nonsensical words, it was there and made the game feel more alive and detailed. Most modern games would’ve probably added nothing or made it blurry so you can’t make out what it says.

Great video STiPO an interesting thought I’ve always had was how did the vehicles and the prisoners get into leisure park? Since there’s no real entrance to get there not even in the maintenance tunnels. Maybe no real explanation but it’s hard to think about it 😂

4:17 that reminded me of something. apologies if I’ve already asked this on a previous video, but have you ever considered diving into that Eldritch abyss which is barely able to contain the half-life franchise’s cut content? I really enjoy your editing style and clarity in which you present things, and feel like your video style would mesh well with the content and stand out when compared to others who have made videos about it. If I recall correctly you’ve said in the past that you only wanted this channel to be dead rising stuff, but if you made it a separate channel I’d be subscribed to it in a heartbeat. I’d also understand if you didn’t want to though, valve’s recycling bin has consumed the souls of lesser mortals and it can take awhile to shift through all the information and borderline urban legends involving the topic.

You might not be interested BUT I'm pretty sure there was some sort of dead rising mobile at one point, well if there wasn't it brought me to the idea of emulators lord and behold There is a wii emulator that just so happens to run Dead rising Chop Still You Drop real well on your phone. I'm currently testing it for my niece (she loves this game) but the game runs 100% like OG Dead rising:CTYD on Android. Case in point you should try it as something new. Every form of dead rising is interesting to me.
