He had his strength all along, it was god who punishment brung his faith back, in the real story in the scriptures, his hair didn't grow back but his asking god for his forgiveness for his mistakes and gave him strength one more time to destroy his enemies.

Actually, it does say in the Bible that his hair began to grow back while he was in prison. Look up judges 16:22. But yes, you're right in that he prayed to God in the Philistine temple and that's when he brought down the place.

Best Samson and Delilah film, Delilah wanted Samson to be humiliated for him, ignoring her advances to him at the beginning in favour of her sister. But not at the cost of where he's blind and helpless. "No blade must touch his skin, No drop of his blood must be shed." The Lords of the five cities kept their promise to Delilah, but twisted words by using extreme heat to blind his eyes.
