RIP to the man who had the thankless task of replacing Bruce Dickinson and absolutely blew him out of the water. Hard to believe Thunderstick is the only one left

Awesome! Samson's albums with Bruce Bruce where reissued here in Brazil last year. It would be great if they did the same with other albums. Nicky Moore's voice is amazing too!

Simply awesome. I sometimes forget how good a band they were. I remember listening to Survivors and the simply awesome Head On as a youth. Nicky was a good replacement. Always thought he made the gig his own. I saw this bad at the Astoria on the 25th of May. The same year as this gig. This is how good music can be. If they were still about I would go and see them in a heartbeat.

What a find this channel is. Working in a 3 piece band (referring to just the instruments, not the vocals before anyone says owt) isn't easy, its bloody hard work! I always loved how Paul filled out the sound, big influence in my 6 six string playing for a lot of years since I first saw him live. My regret in life is that I was gigging (on bass - as that's what I could play well!) and didn't get to see the various incarnations of the band as much as I'd have liked to. Brilliant memories.

Why does anything pre 2005 look like its from the 80’s… i was 12 years old and i dont remember it looking that 80’s on Tv!

The artifacts at the bottom of the screen mean this was probably recorded off VHS, which honestly makes anything look like it's from the 80s

Samson will remain an eternally good B group. 🙁 The problem for me is that it lacks power and a second guitarist would have boosted this simple and pleasant music to listen to. As for Nicky Moore, his place would have been better suited in a southern Hard Rock group like Molly Hatchet or 38 Special. 🤘
@Zazquatch12 жыл бұрын
This is how you clearly can tell wether a vocalist/voice completes a band or not. Bruce Dickinson with Iron Maiden is a match, but a complete joke singing in Samson i.m.o. Nick Moore by far outsings him even on their earlier songs like Vice Versa.
@v1niciusrodrigues2 жыл бұрын
I completly disagree with you, vise versa sonds amazing on Bruce's voice, his is the only one who can hit those notes and sing the original melodies

Thunderstick gets a proper metal cage this time unlike the wobbly plastic one at Reading.
