Edafe is the star of the podcast. He doesn't forget a single thing. Even though we're contemporaries, I really can't remember most of the the stories he recounts so vividly like it was just yesterday. This guy deserves much more flowers than he's getting.

Samson Siasia, the legend. I grew up hearing that name. Very skillful especially how he chips the ball over goalkeepers in tight corners. His control on the wings sometimes can be something else. He should coach the Super Eagles after the ban.

Still miss this man. One of the best coach that the lackadaisical attitude of the eagles players let down. Watching from the stand how the eagles player threw away the Guinea match was so heart breaking for me. Sure big Sam will come back stronger. I love him and that his Dutch assistant.

As per the atrocities the enemies have committed against you, you will overcome. We love you and God is behind you.

After listening to the interview. I felt something in heart for Samson Siasia. RIP to your father. What an amazing incredible history you have. You were one of Nigerian great football ⚽ players. I feel so bad that the ministry of sports people running the association let you down. I feel that smaller African countries can run their F.A more better than Nigerians. Siasia I can feel you. Thanks for this great interview. Well done . Wishing you the best in the nearest future.

Maybe because he is a straight talker, and wont stand for any BS, some FA officials had issues with him.. but he's the real deal.. a great coach and leader anyday. Am writing from Benin city.Samsom Sisaia is the best youth coach in Nigeria is team are always a hard nuts to crack.. Nigeria NFF should give him six years contract to coach the U20 and U23 at the same time to save cost and give him a huge financial contract say N20 million a month,as the return on investment will be recoup qualifying and winning all the tournament he goes, he can do it.Siasia has every quality to give the super eagle surplus quality. like coach Jose Parker of Argentina for 8 years as U20 coach, who churned out quality players that went on to win all world football tournament including the last world cup let NFF. give him all the support Nigeria will be better for it. He has passion for football development and is records are there for all football loving Nigerians to see

RIP to the late father of Samson Siasia. Thank God for your life and legacy. Hmm... Samson Siasia has given so much to and for Nigerian football for over 35 years (whaat!!??)... right from his junior national team days circa 1983 as a high school boy to the top flight in Europe and international football.. to coaching the u20's to AYC champs and world + Olympic finals.. to SE coach.. and up till today his passion and love for discipline is still intact... Salute to the Black Diamond! Legends like this are to be celebrated regularly. 🙌🏽 🙌🏽. Kudos to Emma Babayaro and Elegbete for the interview! Maybe you can make it a series so we can hear more, cos there so much more..yes, Oliver Twist.. 😂😂 ..e.g. like in '98 when he was back in good form but left out of the world cup squad... or when he insisted on discipline as super eagles coach and dropped some top players that wanted to be big men in the squad, but FA recalled them.. 🙃

We’re in RS, didn’t see the best of Samson and Tarila; we wanted them to v come play for Sharks of PH!! Lagos and NG gain! What a player- a even invented the half positions in Nigeria, though we didn’t know how to use those positions as he was always typecast as an out and out striker… even better Coach in my view! I think you’ve done your father proud, Samson!!
