I just got a couple of these, is it only the middle lock that actually locks or does the middle lock lock the top and bottom one?

On the larger one, it looks like at the top right the rubber where suitcase closes is sticking out? Is there an issue with the rub close lining up and the suitcase closing evenly/properly?

Hi, Thanks for your comment. I dont have problems with closing the suitcase. I think what you see is the hinge of the suitecase. It is sticking out a bit compared to the suitcase.
