It seems to me that there are two ways to purchase the glass. One is together with the chassis and the other, you need to figure out how to rip the old screen off the chassis to reuse it. My situation is the latter. Any idea how to rip it without damaging the chassis?

When they take the blue plastic covers off and start assembling the phone. You buy the glass and digitizer as one piece. It's cheaper than buying the glass itself.
