Best In: Selfie Camera / Color Accuracy Huawei P30 Lite : Oversaturated outputs / sometimes color loss with reddish skin tone. Best In Slow Motion / Contrast Redmi Note 7 : Detailed especially in the lowlight bright at night, good exposure but sometimes pale or yellowish color in selfie. Best In Night Mode / Details

A50 users like this comment! I can testify that A50 have a good rear camera and selfie camera. The night view is also good. Only in the video that it is darker compared to the two.

I ordered the A50 and find the normal camera terrible bad. If you only zoom in a little bit to view a picture you see there´re no details visible. No pixels, just smudged content. And although reviews talk about portret mode. I haven´t found that option on the normal camera (so not the selfie camera). So curious how that can be done. Also I can't find the option to shoose the amount of PX for the pics.

Btw... in my A50 the flowers with scene optimizer is way more saturated than the one on yours (that purple flower.. i got some in my backyard and took a pic of it) well i could have sent it if youtube give option of it

A50 all around performance is the winner. With lots of features that the competitors don't have. Yes the others can be better in the camera but that is only if you zoom in to the picture. Still A50 produces good results and even better with the pictures based on the video.

A50 don't only have a good rear and selfie camera but also have the amoled display. And the brightness of A50 can be maxed out, meaning you can still see what is in your phone in a very sunny day.

A50 Pro Mode is not fully manual, Shutter speed is missing. You can play with the ISO and White Balance but the device is not capable of collecting lights for long exposure images. We all know that long exposure shots are stunning specially at low light condition. Base on my observation, A50 can take a clear and bright images in Low Light. Video recording is as always, dark.

I bought a50 just days back and i am very glad i did. These comparisons will never justify samsung. This phone when i hold it just gives a premium feel,sturdiness and overall a best daily driver. Camera performs very well,even in night. One ui is just awesome.There is no compromise over qualify or cost cutting. It is a few thousad expensive but truly justified ,the trust of Samsung and customer care is just fab . Buy from Samsung's smart cafe after using it personally yourself.

Hahaha same with me. I got this question many times on my channel, and until now I can't answer it directly. All units have its own strong points and weak points. But if you would ask me which phone I will pick in terms of my preferences and budget... I am more into camera and I look into phone's physical appearance, I will pick A50. But if I have extra budget, I will get the V15pro.

The P30 lite has 48mp, 8mp, 2mp; the A50 has 25mp, 8mp and 5mp. the last value for each camera is the depth sensor which is used in all images...so at the moment I kinda feel that any image is a combination of all three values and the light values attached to those values - which I think means the A50 is a better camera...am I right or wrong? Personally i feel disappointed with the Zoom on these phones, I remember when smart phones were making buying a actual camera redundant, what happened to that ideology?

Well this video shows unlike many others that A50 main camera performs well, which makes this phone a nice option. I'm using right now the RN7 and I think it performs great, but it's better with GCam than with stock. Also for me it's important to use camera in dinners and meeting where light is poor, and It works much better than my p20 lite on those low light ambients. The A50 tempts me but still not convinced. I might try Mi9SE or even Mi9 to see how it does.

I’m complete dark yeah, low light is just that though. It’s meant for pictures in areas with little light such as street lamps, a picture of a Christmas tree in a dark room etc. You don’t need to use flash that way.
