What's the max water you can add to a load? Is there an extra water option to increase washing cycle and rinse cycle water ?
@BreakFixRepair21 күн бұрын
I’m not sure on the maximum amount of water but there’s a couple of options. You can do a bubble soak where the clothes will sit in the water for about 30 minutes just soaking in the soap and water. There’s also an extra rinse option you can add to the cycle you choose. The heavier cycles will also use more water than the normal cycle. Hope this helps. Check out the tagged products and go to the links there to learn more about them. Overall it’s one of the best purchases I’ve ever made.

I just got this unit 3 days ago. It performs really well, wash and dry. The only complaint I have is that there is an excessive noise (82db) when the washer spins at its fastest. This fastest spin seem to happen only when the load gets heavy, like washing a king or queen comforter. Did you experience this problem of getting the excessive rattling noise at its fastest speed?
@brandonlong178412 күн бұрын
Just in case, make sure you calibrate it in the settings of the washer. Maybe it was slightly moved after it was installed or never calibrated? Just something to try!
@KeithSL-k9b11 күн бұрын
Appreciate the suggestion, however I did calibrate it probably 4 more times and made sure the unit is level but to no avail. When running diagnostic, no problems were detected and the noise is not reproduced but it is most likely because the rpm is not at its fastest on diagnostic. Eventually, since I was still in the return window, I requested for a replacement and the new one didn't have this problem and is running smoothly. Hopefully, I will not encounter that problem again as I love this machine.
@brandonlong178411 күн бұрын
@@KeithSL-k9b I hope so too! We’ve had ours for about 6 months now and we couldn’t be happier. You will notice the heat pump is louder from time to time, but that usually coincides around the time to run a self clean, and running a self clean/dry will usually quiet down the machine again.

I’ve noticed on “normal” dry some thicker items such as jeans and very thick towels are sometimes very slightly damp in a couple of areas so I have been running them on “extra dry” that really gets them fully dry. I've had mine for 6 months and all of my issues have been self inflicted. I've had a toddler sock get stuck in the drain filter that's behind the primary soap reservoir. Just drain and go. I've run two diapers through the unit. This just requires a vacuum to get all the little pieces and then a drum clean cycle ran. The last issue is mostly just a observation. When I had the stuck sock I didn't get a warning I just had wet clothes so I thought the condenser was already clogged. I took the top of the unit off and disassembled the cover just enough to look inside and the condenser was spotless. I did however find a good amount of wife/daughter hair caught in the compartment at the back of the machine. It looks like this channels excess air and water back down to the drum or possibly the drain/pump. It has a plastic screen on it and that had tangled hair and some lint. It wasn't excessive but over time I could see it start to be an issue. The rear plastic piece comes apart at the top and I was able to reach my hand inside and remove all of it. I don't think it would build up enough to be a real concern until maybe the 2-3 year point. Other than that I'm really happy with the unit and I love waking up to a nice dried load and not a wet load we forgot to move to the dryer before we went to bed. lol

I don’t think people truly realize how awesome it is to not have to switch laundry over. There’s definitely a group of people that are hardcore they want to do that, but it’s AMAZING to not have to worry about it. Plus the clothes are much more sanitary because there’s no chance for bacteria to grow between washing and drying.

Yesterday I washed 7 towel, 2 good thick towels and 5 very small and thin towels, one pair of sweat pants, a pair of socks, 2 pair of underwear and 2 t-shirts. The wash took 2 hours and 50 minutes on light soil, The dryer took 6 hours and 40 minutes. The sweatpants and 2 good towels were still damp/ The dryer was not on economy. What am I doing wrong??

Oh wow thank you!! I did not know that!
@causarumcognitio3 ай бұрын
@@BreakFixRepair It might be able to be set it in the machine’s settings app or the machine’s Smartthings app, but I know for sure it’s in the Smartthings mobile app for phones. In the Device Control tab click auto dispensers and you can set what is in the bin and what concentration if you get concentrated detergent or softener. Changing the concentration will cause it to adjust how much it dispenses accordingly. The dispenser sounds like it dispenses in 1ml or smaller increments (I counted the pump sounds and divided the amount it used by them). So it’s pretty granular. Also, in the Smartthings app on the device there’s an AI Energy Mode, which usually saves about 18% of the electricity by running, what appears to be, the variable speed compressor at 50-60% of capacity. I can’t get to it in the services section of the iOS app because it skips past it due to a software bug. It takes longer, but it’s also quieter than the full power level. According to the dryer-only advertisement page it’s active in the AI Dry mode, Superspeed, Towels, and Iron Dry (that one might be model-specific). There was no mention of this feature on the combo unit’s feature page but it works. They say up to 30% savings, but I think it varies by whether it’s a light thin material or heavy dense material. An obvious way to know which cycles it works for is the energy graph in one of the apps because at full power the machine uses 600-700 watts/hr and when using the variable speed at lower power it usually uses 400 or less if running through the whole hour. Plus it will tell you at the end of the cycle how much energy was saved if the cycle uses it.
@JPSurratt19867 күн бұрын
I run a free and clear in the primary and Dreft in the secondary for the toddler clothes. We use softener beads in the drum at the start of the wash. That seems to work great!

@JPSurratt1986 love this idea!
@causarumcognitio7 күн бұрын
@@BreakFixRepair There are also settings in the app and I’m pretty sure on the machine to use different levels of concentration for either detergent or softener. I use All Free and Clear 1x concentrate, but I’d like to start using the 2X because then we could go longer without refilling and we keep so much on hand in the cabinet it takes up a lot of space. I saw an article from a long time ago, like ‘08 or’09 that walmart would require all detergent they sold to be 2x concentrated and compatible with H/E washers (meaning minimal suds to rinse out) and they probably mainly did it to save on shipping, logistics and the labor of stocking them, rather than reducing plastic and saving water, but every manufacturer got on board right away so what used to be 2X we now just call it regular or 1x. I think we refill ours every two weeks and we use dissolvable sheets but it’s nice to know I could get 2x concentrated detergent, fill both bins, change the concentration and bin contents in the app or machine, and not have to refill for 2 months. Extremely lazy, but some people who do far more laundry than us would probably appreciate it.

I just got this unit and absolutely loving it, my only hiccup is that there is an overwhelming amount of different cycles, and I have no clue which one to pick. If I am doing towels for example, do I pick Normal (AI), AI Opti Wash & Dry, or Towels? In the manual, the description for 'Normal (AI)" is: For cottons, bed linens, table linens, underwear, towels, or shirts. The washing time and the rinse count are automatically adjusted according to the load"... as you can see, towels are mentioned, which then makes me question, why would I pick the Towel cycle over the Normal (AI) cycle, and then of course there is the AI Opti Wash & Dry which "detects the type, weight, and soil level of your laundry, and then selects the wash cycle settings accordingly", so why would I pick Towels if presumably the machine will pick the best cycle for the current load? Any tips, tricks, or advice on selecting the right cycle?!
@BreakFixRepair3 ай бұрын
Over the last month or so I’ve mostly used three cycles. Small load ( a couple of items), normal wash or a modification of it, or steam and sanitize. I find those three to be the best combo for my weekly uses. Plus being able to modify the temp or add things like bubble soak or extra dry time is great. The one thing I’ve noticed is the normal dry doesn’t always get the clothes completely dry, especially blankets so I normally add the extra dry time.

Hi there! I have a question. If I don't have a laundry room, is the water line installation complicated? Like, do I need regular laundry room connections installed? Thanks!
@BreakFixRepair2 ай бұрын
You would need a hot and cold water connection, a drain line, and a 120v connection installed to run it. you’d need the standard water connections for washing machines with shut off valves to meet code most places (I’m not a contractor). The drain line drains into a long pipe that typically has an s trap at the bottom so would be hard to drain into a sink for instance. What do you have available in that room?

How does a ventless dryer work? All of the water just gets put into the air?
@BreakFixRepair4 ай бұрын
Nope! I’ve tested humidity and it stays consistent every time. Never a spike so far.
@jimmyhuang74814 ай бұрын
It's a heat pump system. The hot air carrying moisture will run through the cold side of the heat pump where the moisture condenses, pools and then pumped away. The heat from the warm air is recycled for the hot side of the heat pump. The air is literally recycled as well as any heat not used to evaporate water. There is some energy loss besides the energy used to dry the clothes but no where as much as a vented unit.

@BreakFixRepair2 ай бұрын
Well I have a dog and my girlfriend has a few dogs. It does very well at getting the hair off unless it’s items loaded with dog hair in which case it gets almost all of it. As far as getting dirty clothes clean, the only issue I’ve had is with a lot of chainsaw oil stuck in a shirt, but that was my fault. I didn’t use an appropriate degreaser before hand or pre treat. I’ve had brake dust absolutely soaked in a pair of jeans among with some old engine oil from my jeep. It completely cleaned it all with no pre treatment somehow. One thing to consider is that the steam / sanitize wash can take consider longer as it will do with almost all washing machines. Normally if you start it a few hours before you go to bed it’ll be washed and dry the next morning. Make sure you use the “more dry” most of the time to get them completely dry. I do love this machine. It’s honestly a life saver in some situations where I need to go to sleep but can’t wait on the washer to finish to move the clothes over. With this I just throw it in and it’s done when I wake up. If you’re interested check the promoted products link out in the description. Most of the time they have the best deals there and sometimes the Samsung link will get you a great deal and a free product when they’re running the specials. It does take a little longer than the standard washer / dryer but you have to consider there’s no switchover time for clothes. You can literally put them in and walk away and they’re finished when the cycle is over. Even though it takes a little longer, it’s more efficient overall since it’s 120v power compared to a dryers 240v. A standard dryer can use up to 50 amps and up to 5000w of power. The most I’ve seen these washer/dryers use is around 7-8 amps and 1400ish watts of power, which is considerably cheaper.

I am a little paranoid of Samsung appliances after owning a Samsung fridge (the expensive one with the screen). Bought it in 2020 and it’s basically been a lemon. Had to repair the fans twice and now it’s not cooling again. Absolutely atrocious purchase

I hate that happened!! I do think their quality has gotten better the last couple of years. I’m certainly going to keep everyone posted on how this model does. I have a new video coming soon on things I’ve seen so far!!

We bought 1 of these Samsung Bespoke Washer/Dryer combos about 2 months ago! Everything was working great up until about a week ago when an err code kept popping up saying that the system was unable to drain properly. So we opened up the bottom left corner of the machine pulled out the drain hose and left it drain into a small dish. Then opened up the screw filter to find nothing in the filter, got a flashlight, looked up in side to see nothing… Put it all back together and reran the cycle. Only to have the error code pop back up again 5C … Called Samsung help desk today. They are trying to get us a repair person to help us with this issue!!! If anyone knows anything about the washer or can help us in any way it would be greatly appreciated 😢

I’d let them fix it since it has a 1 year warranty. In my opinion it would be better to let them handle it all as anything you do yourself could potentially void their warranty. They are normally pretty good with getting people out relatively fast on repairs. If you don’t mind, let me know your full experience with their support.

If anyone wants to buy this and it's too expensive. I work at a store called Castletown in burlington, Canada. we are selling it for 2,499. Retails 3,216, which is pretty expensive when you add tax
@BreakFixRepair2 ай бұрын
The links in the promoted products typically have sales on it for around $2000 USD and sometimes Samsung throws in a secondary item for free. It also helps out the channel!

@BreakFixRepair oh okay, yeah, that's good. Im stalking about cad

OMG THANKS. Why samsung doesn't bother to tell us where the detergent goes is beyond us. We do have 120 pages of warnings and cautions. NOTHING on how to use
@BreakFixRepair25 күн бұрын
😂 honestly took me a minute too!!! I don’t think I got the manual when mine showed up but luckily I did find it. Once you’ve used it a few times come back and let me know how you like it! I did notice that on larger items I’ll sometimes have to use the “dry more” setting to get them completely dry.

Can I use tide pods instead of a liquid detergent? If yes, then how to use it?
@BreakFixRepair5 ай бұрын
Yes you sure can! There’s a tide pod wash option! It changed the cycle up different to accommodate.

Shopping for one but not in a hurry. Have the Huebsch TR7004 and have mixed feelings. Things I dislike about Samsung compared to the GE and LG is short warranty and...unknown reliability. Samsung has been terrible in recent years and it is still unkown if they have improved and if yes, by how much...

Personally I own a lot of Samsung appliances and have had good experiences with them. This washer had a pretty good warranty. Especially the 10 year digital inverter motor warranty.
@PewPewYaDead20003 ай бұрын
How does this work with it being ventless? Is your laundry room going to be a steam room lol
@BreakFixRepair3 ай бұрын
Nope! It has a system that condenses the water and pumps it out so there is no steam or additional humidity! I’ve tested this out with a hygrometer.

@@BreakFixRepair wow that’s awesome I’m definitely going to get it!

Check it out from the “view products” in the video. It helps the channel and typically has the best prices. Thanks for the great question!!

I don't get why this thing is built like a tank. It's not like Samsung doesn't already have washer dryers. So what's so special about this one. Why does it have to be so heavy. It does look like a commercial machine.
@BreakFixRepair3 ай бұрын
I’m not sure either but I think it has to do with the system that evaporates the excess water during the drying cycle.
@johndoe-vc1we3 ай бұрын
@@BreakFixRepair i was quite surprised to see this model under bespoke as there is usually a washer and dryer stacked under that name. Wonder if this is a US only offering as its not available anywhere else as yet

Can u imagine if one thing goes wrong?? Everything in intertwined nightmare.. I will stick to my 2 separate units…..
@BreakFixRepair17 күн бұрын
Eh, everything breaks eventually. I’d say stick to what you feel is right, but you don’t know what you’re missing out on. plus the warranties are pretty great!
@davidtate769917 күн бұрын
Yeah true what is the warranty on it most are about 1-2 years with this model Iam guessing it’s way above the normal ,not like u can run to home depot for parts ..lol
@BreakFixRepair17 күн бұрын
Just going off memory here. I’m sick with the ‘vid at the moment. There’s a 1 year full warranty. A 5 year warranty on the drum I believe, and a 20 year digital inverter motor warranty. I have two full length videos on these. The first one goes over the warranty toward the end of the video.

It’s actually this video.

I wouldn't recommend this to family of 6 , we have one, and If you have to wash multiple loads, you too wait 4+ hrs per load , so u are only getting 5 loads done a day
@BreakFixRepair2 ай бұрын
I’m pretty close to you with 5 in the household but we don’t wash 5 loads a day lol maybe one load a day or 4-5 a week. It works well for us. The normal cycle takes about 3ish hours for me. What’s it take for you?
@Wayne-tk5mx2 ай бұрын
@@BreakFixRepair its about 4 hrs even on normal or Ai, I also believe the self mantance is cool, but does it 2 or 3 hrs. We also run a daycare so ya a few more extra clothes.

Doing my first load of laundry on normal settings, it said it would take 93 minutes but now the timer says 6 hours...🤷🏼♂️ Still looking into it...🙄
@BreakFixRepair3 ай бұрын
Wait what??? 6 hours?! That doesn’t seem right. My normal load is somewhere around 2.5-3 hours to wash and fully dry them. There is one setting in there that lets you set an end time to finish. Is it possible that’s set?
@MightySamoht3 ай бұрын
@@BreakFixRepair I'm not sure, it was my first load and it wasn't even a lot of clothes, luckily I paid for the 5 year warranty! I'm currently on vacation so when I get home, I'll have another load to wash. Hopefully it won't take long but if it does I'm going to call customer service.

Don't get how the size is a downside. They make all in ones in smaller sizes, GE is only 4.8 and the LG is 5.0 😅 i mean did you not look at the thing before you bought it or measured?

I sure did, but not everyone would so I thought I’d point it out to the unsuspecting.

This washer dryer combo is laundromat machine size, definitely bulky. If someone breaks into my house and steals it, I'm not going to be mad, I'll actually be impressed...😂

Samsung is extremely unreliable. When these appliances work they are cutting edge and beautiful but Samsung breaks down easily.

So far so good. It has a great warranty too. I have mostly Samsung appliances in my house and they’ve done very well so far.
