I'm happy with the Hisense U6HF i got this week. 65" was the price of Samsung's 55" and I dont think samsung does anything else better on their TV. I also have the Samsung AU8000 and wasnt all that impressed. This Hisense is really cool tho.

I was looking at a CU8000, but the specs were too low. Price was okay. I ended-up getting a Q70C. For a little more money, I feel like I got a lot more TV with higher specs. So far I am happy with it. ( Yeah, those little solar remotes are crap. I got the larger one from Amazon. More buttons is better. )

Thanks for showing me the tv I’ve already bought, before I receive it. I studied Hisense and TCL and Samsung before I decided on the Samsung. I’ll admit it was mostly because of name recognition. My mistake was not watching any videos like this on any of them. I must’ve studied them for at least 4 hours on Amazon. I don’t like the look of the original remote. I recently bought a DU8000 from a reseller, and Ive noticed that there is much ghosting on it, especially when watching people move, i.e. basketball, ufc etc? Is it normal for the unit to have that very noticeable ghosting?

@arev2485 too many variables, example. I have 300 mbps on fiber and Netflix 4k. No issues, same for youtube as long as I manually switch to 4k. So when you say basketball i hope you’re not using cheap iptv or hacked fire stick, those are resolution killer and your tv will look terrible no matter what you do.

I have been running an NU8000 since the model came out in 2018; I'll NEVER buy another edge lit LCD again. The blooming on this thing, especially with HDR in the dark, is beyond ridiculous. I will also be staying away from Samsung after our panel had issues at less than a month old, which required techs to come out three times under warranty. Is the model in this video an edge lit?

Samsung entry-level tv are not good. Hisense and tcl entry-level are better. Samsung needs to up there game in the entry-level price. range. Plus with this forcing people to make a Samsung account. Is another reason to pass on them. Samsung better start worrying about tcl and hisense because they will push them down to a #5 place tv maker.

Maybe because less are sold it appears that the return volume is higher and since people aren’t familiar with the brand i’m sure one minor issue that they see, they will return and if a well know brand has an issue they probably think, that’s the way it is before returning.

Under the specifications, it mentioned that the TV has a refresh rate of 100Hz. I was thinking that this is the "new" feature for the Crystal UHD TV's for 2024. But in the video, you mentioned that it does 50Hz (like the 2023 version). Or maybe I just mistook you talking about what grid frequency with screen refresh rate.

I hate smartthings, it asks way too many personal info just to get it working. I never feel safe divulging so much info just so i can use an app to turn my tv on.
