Really good straight to the point content. Our heat-pump overheated I feel due to the sponge filter being inadvertently thrown away at some point and then fluff being allowed to build up inside the heat exchanger. I hovered it out as best as I could then used my compressor with a water Vapor blaster to get it really really clean. Then carried out this exact reset as shown in this video and it now works perfectly. All the thumbs up! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Hi Simon Im so glad you found it helpful and it worked for you. It's a known issue and TBH its something that can be fixed relatively quickly without it costing the consumer an entire new Compressor system.Its simply a "trip" in software that allows master-fit etc to make a call out. I cleaned my Heat exchanger using a compressed air.This inside info should be available to all consumers in the manual.

thank you for the video. mine stopped working properly, meaning it didn't get the clothes dried, torn it apart, cleaned everything from lint including the condenser department,put everything back, now it gets the clothes dried however, there is no water being condensed, no water output whatsoever. the clothes are getting dried within the specified time timeframe, and the compressor is getting awfully hot! At first i thought the cooler fan was not working, so i checked it and it's fine, i also checked the thermostat that goes into the compressor, and it's fine, the evaporator is hot but the condenser is about cool. Where do you think the problem is? Is the compressor dead? Is the refrigerant gone? Is there a relay for the compressor that is dead and therefore the compressor doesn't function properly? I would really appreciate your help.

Hi, i am having a reoccurring issue with the HE error. Reset, works for a while (sometimes 5 minutes, sometimes 5-6 days). I opened the dryer and tried running it with the front cover off, and noticed the little black cooling fan is not running during testing. Do you know if this fan is supposed to run all the time, or if it is temperature controlled?

I don’t know if this will help you at all but my husband cleaned the vent part that connects to the outside and it helped with dry time. My towels took four 1 hour cycles to fry it was awful, now it only take one 1 hour cycle.

Goodnight! My dryer is DV90 9 kg. The code appears HC. I clean in the drum in the holes. Full of fluff and also on the front door. In the exchanger filled with water. Always clean. I don't know how to start first... The machine is 5 years old! I have a Smartthings app said to be working fine. The problem takes a long time to dry up. I wear less and less clothes each time. I don't know how... I don't trust technicians.

Hello - a compressor compressed air blow it free seems to work well. It becomes damp and the fluff sticks to it in areas. So yeah we used a compressor.
