thanks for this video. i made the mistake of buying this one without checking for reviews and as soon as i went into windows display settings to adjust things and i dragged the window around, i got a sick feeling. your video allowed me to compare my mistake to other monitors in the price range so that i might return this one and purchase a better one. I tried this monitor, but in 27" variant. The only pro I could give the monitor was it's adjustable stand and great black levels. Everything else sucked from the poor button placement on back of monitor, lacking menu settings other gaming monitors have, dull colours, and worst of all severe motion blur and ghosting. I'm hoping the G5 & G7 flat panels Samsung teased have higher quality panels. Because the G3 was quite the letdown and I was looking forward to it. If you're looking for a VA panel, and can fit a 32" screen on your desk. Take a look into the LG 32" GN500 or GN50T (1080p) or GK650F GN600 (1440P). Which performed far better (I own the GN500, using for console and casual PC)

@@kvantro7909 in specifications - of course. As you see in the video - as more contrast scene is, as more ghosting appears. meaning that response time is larger in that conditions... Let us think logically - the task of marketologs is to make one buy their product as much as possible, so when a monitor (their product) could give results of response time in variation 1ms-44ms (for example) depending on the scene, it is obvious that they state "1ms response time" in product characteristics... to make you more likely to buy it, as I said

@@hamza.j1192Hmm, its decent honestly speaking. The complains about colors arent too muxh of an issue for me as I hardly notice it now. However, I also use ny series x on a 4k tv which is far better. In my opinion, this monitor is really good for the previous gen and the new xbox series s, but I recommend investing in a high end monitor for the series x.

I don't think this is a budget oriented monitor especially among FHD monitors; it costs the same as a decent QHD IPS 155hz monitor (AOC Q27G2S). Not to mention that the AOC 24G2 being the market disruptor it is, costing only 60% of this monitor at least where I live, it should be evaluated as such; mid tier if not high end among FHD monitors. I appreciate the review however! Way way better than other "reviews" that say the panel looks solid blah blah without figures and measurements to back it up. Keep it up!

Thanks! In Germany (where I live) it's 178€ incl tax, which actually is cheaper than the 24G2 atm. With prices changing as frequently as they are now and huge price differences around the globe, price is a complicated topic to tackle in reviews. I wish I could put more emphasis on the price/performance ratio.

Great video! I want to purchase this monitor, but I plan to use it only in 60hz mode. This is because I am an occasional gamer, and will focus more con watching content and work. Will I notice ghosting if on 60hz and with overdrive On? From your video, it seems that it is not noticeable in that settings. (This is the only monitor available in my country that has the features I like at a reasonable price)

the only VA panels that dont have horrible black level smearing are samsungs newest panels on the g7 and above, but they are very expensive and much larger than what you are looking for.

thing that many people may not now: go to graphics settings in your GPU and instead of using the monitors scheme, use Nvidia or AMD scheme worked on my current monitor that is 60hz and from 8 years ago, should work on this one too

I think those should all be the same: F24G33TFWU / F24G34TFWU / F24G35TFWU / LF24G33TFWUXEN / LF24G34TFWUXEN / LF24G35TFWUXEN Though I'm not entirely sure. I guess those are just meant for different regions or retailers. The model I reviewed has "F24G34TFWU" on its sticker.
