makes you wonder why in the hell they glue the damn battery down to the chassis idiotic. 5 minutes taking screws out and 20 minutes removing gum stuck to battery jeez. BTW thanks for posting with no crappy ass music don't know why some think they HAVE to have background music.

Thansk for posting this excelent and helpful video! I did it now and it worked for me. To ease the removal of the battery (fixed with sticky tape) you can: charge the battery for 1 hour or so, which heats the sticky tape and softens it a bit 2) could use oil spray or isopropyl acohol (other video showd it) Careful with the camera lens not to get oil on it. Clean it if necessary. The oil/ alcohol helps to unglue the sticky tape a lot. And yes, use only plastic sheets as he shows, never a metal tool, knife cause it can blow the battery because of short circuit cells. Good work !

@Musa Man & @Jay Gould Bought a "free" government phone, for $25... Accidentally washed it, in the laundry. I had to get some important info off of it, so I looked up how to get it fixed: On the service provider's website, it said I could get it fixed for free... But, I had to pay $50 shipping and handling... WTF? And this was UNDER WARRANTY. >:{

No mention of tools needed, no instructions, and he uses dangerous method by sticking metal into the battery compartment. I had to give this a thumb down, just like the POS phone itself. I wouldn't doubt if samsnug has sponsored this in order to get people to just buy a new phone, smh. I'm thinking about going back to motorola phlip fone geez

you can also use plastic playing card for removing battery and any type of liquid like petrol ctc thinner etc for cleaning

I would apply heat to the battery to loosen the glue. A hair dryer would work.

Wanted to add a sim card from a different carrier. But after seeing this. I probably won't. My ol phone the battery just popped out & wasn't glued down. Plus I would hate to mess with those tiny screws, I wouldn't want to strip them.

Useless You don't explain how to get the cover off Is that pressure you are using ? Are you using your fingernail to separate the cover while applying pressure ? Are you using a tool ? First things first ! If you're going to show things that take several steps Make the steps obvious or explain them. Or put a sign up that reads I did this. Like for instance I applied pressure to remove the back cover

Poor video. Your hands obscure everything you're doing. I showed this video to a blind friend and he saw just as much as I did. 20 minutes of removing battery put me to sleep. You made it appear much more difficult than it actually isn't. Nice try, rhough.
