Yeah it still works immediately after this test but that doesn't mean that a week later the internals are going to keep working. Sometimes water damage takes time to show through how bad it is.

I left mine fell in the toilet 7 months ago. After falling it was still working 100%. It had a water moisture in the screen that faded away slowly in a few days while it was still working well. After 7 months, it is working 100% like if it was new.

You should make a new video where you press the buttons while it's underwater. The container that you used, fit your hand into it, incase you still have it lying around. This helps people to know if they can press their buttons when it's raining outside. I'm a time traveller too.

Youd be suprised how phones (androids especially) could survive in water, there will be a few hiccups, BUT rice and a blow dryer always helps!!

I would have liked to have seen him test to see if the volume buttons still worked. My phone (Alcatel Tetra) got wet and it killed the up volume. Down volume still works though

I'd rather see the water strait from the tap. Metals that is found naturally in water is what shorts out the electronics. Not the water itself. That seems like some really clear highly filtered water. Metals filtered out so the electronics are safe. Good video but I'm skeptical of it.

No. That phone is not IP68 or IP58 water resistant. It doesn't matter if your phone has been splashed by a water or poured by water. Just don't submerge your phone under water! Hahaha its not fully protected yet hahahah😆

Most IPHONES and Samsung's phones are waterproof since 2019- 2020. Of course there's some limitations. I believe no deeper than 10 feet, because of the extra pressure. But Yeah if you dropped in water (more likely in a toilet bowl ,the most common accident just rinse it out and dry it immediately. )
