It's the best video out there on that topic. Thank you so much for putting that out, thanks to you I was able to replace my nephew's screen without paying a lot for someone else to do it.

Thank you for your video. You made it look so easy. It took me over 25 minutes just to remove the back cover. I kept on pressing the power button. The corner wouldn't release. The LCD display was easy to remove. Apply heat to a small area, separate with razor blade, insert plastic clip and move repeat process. Because my display was badly cracked I covered it with tape.

I loved your vid. You were so articulate and made it without all the nonsense that other DIY vids seem to have. No continuous uhms and ahhings, plus the fast forwards on the screw stuff. Your vid is by the far the best; 'How To', I have ever, ever seen, and trust me, I've watched a lot because I'm cheap...lol I hope I can replace my screen without trashing my phone. 🤞 Thanks for making this vid. You rock.

Good video..is the glue used in this video good and would anyone recommend it for screen replacements..so far i have been using double sided adhesive tape and that works good but for some phones glue woild be a better option
@alebart249311 ай бұрын
Really nice video. The only thing that in my experience is a bit misleading is that, despite using the exact same glue, it started drying really fast (like after a few minutes it was already not liquid anymore) so by the time I put the clamps it was impossible to push the screen as far as it originally was. If i were to redo it again I would not take the time to entierly reassemble the phone, just glue the screen and find a way to clamp it without damaging the internals
@RealWorldReview11 ай бұрын
Good advice, whatever works for you (and others.) On most phones I generally set the screen down with no glue, assemble, and then glue the screen down. Some phones don’t make that easy to do, but most do.

@RealWorldReview9 ай бұрын
@@JulianFabrizio44 there’s little stuff like that, but you have to think the screen isn’t the exact same size because of the glass. Then there are chips in the screen with may or may not allow the screen to power on. Even the 4G and 5G version of the A13 alone is not swappable. Seems dumb but that’s what it is. Also the A03s and A13 have different refresh rates. Old the A13 4G is a 1080p screen and the 5G version is 720P

I need help! I have pretty much followed every step until checking see if the screen works. I connect the phone to the charger and the whole screen turns on but whenever I try to power on the phone. It does not want to power on. I really don't know what to do. Everything seems fine except for the power on part. I tried a lot to power on the phone but I can't just seem to power it on with the power on button. Is there any way to fix this or should I just buy a new phone?

Why there is a charging port integrated with the screen? Is the wireless charging coil in the screen itself?🤔

One less separate screen connection, 2 plugs vs 3 I guess. Maybe 2/3 the cost on the $1 of parts to produce now lol

@@RealWorldReview The way the screen should be made is that replacing it shall not make one disassemble the whole phone. In my case I followed the video from Mike at gocellphonerepair to replace my broken Galaxy J7 Perx display and it was just scrapping the old one from the front and disconnecting one cable, all without touching a single screw.

As I got to the step to remove the battery, it began going "Pffffffffffftt!" Smoke everywhere, then flames shot out of I guess the battery. I had been working on a wooden desk, quickly knocked to the floor, where it then set a rug on fire. I have no idea what the issue was, but this Samsung battery started a large fire, burned holes in a rug, stunk up my house, luckily I was right near it when this happened. No clue why. Threw the smoking phone & battery out my door onto the wet lawn.
