That Samsung doesn't stand a chance. I understand your choice to give the Samsung a win on the rear design and the software support but for me, it also loses in both. I prefer the Tecno's design and OneUI core is not a competition for HiOS; it has some good features torn off like the ones you mentioned. I had a Tecno Camon 12 with Android 9 and I didn't mind missing out on the new Android updates because it had these features.

To be honest, in terms of reliability , design ,security, OS updates ,software and hardware the Samsung is hands down the only real good lower budget phone in the market, dont look for the gimics ,most reliable devices tend to show minimalism because that works beat and wont break.

Does the A14 have an ultra wide camera lens of 5MP? I checked all their sites. Even Samsung site, they say it has a 2MP depth sensor and 2M macro. 😢 Correct me if am wrong. That's the only thing stopping me from buying the A14

I think you can make your decision from this video. The A04s is just a lite version of the A14. It won't perform any better than the A14 did in this video except for its 90hz refresh rate which the Spark 10 Pro already matches

TECNO's chipset is more powerful than A14's chipset. Though, A14 can receive 2 yrs software updates but updates can make the phone weak and laggy. Chipset wise not the brands😉

So a Redmi, Samsung or iPhone would be my go-to at this time.
