Honestly, at this price point, it is better to get a used flagship phone. As long as you are willing to go through the trouble of getting one, which will likely have no guarantee (this can be avoided if you have a reputable dealer), you will get a better overall experience when compared to a new budget phone. Just know that you will get limited software support, if not none at all, and if you damage your device it will be harder and more expensive to repair.

The Spark 20 Pro might have complete accessories, punch hole display, bigger RAM, and stereo speakers, but I will still go for the consistency especially about software updates. If you are someone who is really saving some money and trying to purchase a phone that can be used for many years, Galaxy A15 is the way to go to. Not to mention, the front design of the A15 may look outdated, but the AMOLED technology is still better specially for outdoor use. It is also power efficient

Most commenters are throwing shade at Tecno for the "iphone inspired camera design" but beyond that the Tecno Spark 20 pro is just a better buy, it offers more memory, classy punch-hole display, 33w charger in the box & the pics & vids are equal or better than A15, also the benchmarks are a hint higher than A15 & all this for a slight discount on price. Objectively the Spark 20 pro is a real competitor for the A15 another dope vid & keep posting dope comparison reviews even in 2025, cheers

Tecno is the absolute winner. Samsung only has AMOLED display as a major difference. Apart from the display, Tecno it has ALL acessories inside the box while Samsung has NONE except for a USB-C cable. Add an official Samsung case and a charger and the price goes rooftop. Yeah, Samsung has also, like, 5 years of updates? Okay, but I doubt A15 will last 2.5 years running smooth. Tecno has faster charging, better video capabilities (2k@30fps and 1080p@30/60fps), IP53, more RAM and internal storage. Samsung cares little to nothing to their customers and fans unless they are users of flagship devices. The sad thing is that Samsung CAN do better, but they don't want and that's because people idolize and blindly buy all the mediocre products they release.

On the other hand, most people can't afford versions with at least 8GB of RAM, which I believe to be a mandatory amount of RAM for a decent performance on a long-term. Not only Android updates gets heavier and more CPU hungry, but all other apps too.

Exactly. Why would I buy a phone of over 200k and buy a charger separately besides when I went to check the price of A15 at 3C Hub it turned out the 4/128 version is 184k.

I think it will be nice not to compare tecno and Samsung devices because they are not equal, Samsung galaxy phones are more superior and long lasting than tecno, I have been using my Samsung device for almost 5 years now and the only problem I have with my Samsung device is screen, apart from screen I have not seen any issue with my Samsung device, tecno phone cannot last 4 years without and issue apart from screen.
