Totally agree. The nicer sort of plastic used on the base S21 should have become industry standard. Doesn't show fingerprints easily and extremely durable. I have dropped it without a case a couple of times with absolutely no damage. It's sad that these devices that are designed to be little works of industrial art are summarily uglified by the necessity for extra protection from a plastic cover because of some arbitrary trend of a critical mass of users who find fragile materials "premium".

I have had the a15 for a couple weeks and came here to see if I would be happier with the 54, I don't really care about the camera so that's out. My main complaint has been when running larger high demand processes I do find the 15 struggling a little. I feel like the extra couple hundred bucks definitely would be worth it if you had higher demand use. Thanks for helping me with that.

Coming from a Samsung S10+ the A15 felt like a significant downgrade and the reason I got the A15 was naturally the price as I needed to quickly replace an aging phone with various problems. I have been annoyed by the lack of snappiness in the UI and generic slugishness. It is not a fair comparison as the S10+ is a 6x more expensive phone when new, even though there are quite a few years between them. I am on strickt personal budget as I am no longer as enthused by a "cool phone" and it is the utility that is the most important, but the perceived slowness that I now experience has me looking at somehting else, and the A54 is one that I am looking at as there is a selection of them on the second hand market and I think I will actually be picking one of them up today :)

I got the A15 today because my iPhone XS Max finally took a sh-t. Since I have an iPad pro I found I dont use my phone the most, so I just needed to get something that had fast cell service, has a nice display, and gets the job done. I wasn’t expecting much coming from an iPhone, but so far its exceeded my expectations which were really low. However I am happy with the phone so far, its no iPhone but Im happy to back on Android again, and have something I can root.

I have both. The a15 gets laggy overtime. The a54 is much smoother in every way. I liked the a14 Better than the a15 only because it had less issues

A15 has mediatak which won't win in benchmark but battery life signal quality will be better than exonus 1380. I already has an exonus 1280 for almost 2 year and both 5g & 4g signal sucks. Exonus stays on 4g sometimes 5g(but 700mhz slow band ) whereas sd/mtk run 5g consistent with mostly 3500 MHz band .speed difference between banda is 30mbps vs 600mbps peak .but in realme 700mhz band struggle playing KZbin indoor.

I've bought the A15 5g , its good, but I find the processor can be slow . Also, I've noticed it will shut down an application occasionally, and the speaker could be a little louder . That's my take on this phone

If you like taking a lot of pictures, then pay the extra $200 but for daily user web Brower/watching KZbin videos etc...I'll take the a15. If you needed more memory, SD card on the A15 is an option.

you compare apples with oranges . 120 mhz display vs 90 mhz may not be observable, but 1000 nits vs 800 definitely would. also the processor on a54 is 80% faster, i tried the A15 and is laggy as hell . Should we also compare 4 GB RAM vs 8 GB RAM ? there is no comparison there either. Cameras are also way better on A54 (PDAF / OIS and 4k video ). The only aspect where A15 wins is that battery holds out longer, due to worse cpu and gpu. Price wise in my region ? 160 euro for A15 vs 260 euro for A54 so if price is an issue , go with cheap (for a young kid )

A15 for me G! It replaced my BRICKED A51. The A15 was $149 at Walmart (Straight talk) I have been with straight talk for 10yrs and love the value and Always have a good signal. The A15 is also 5G. Plus the phone will get android updates all the way to Android 18 and 4 years of Samsung updates. That's a win win in my book! P.S. The A15 supports a 1TB micro SD card as well.

A54 is a very solid device. Coming from a s22 ultra. Probably wondering why but the s22 ultras battery was horrendous, and it was just too bulky and boxy for my taste. Sure the hardware is better on all fronts but battery life and a more compact form factor was what I was after. This phone stills has a great screen, capable cameras, and the performance is not an issue unless your doing very intensive tasks which I never really do. Highly recommend

I own both phones. Both phone stutters even browsing sometimes, more noticeable on A15 5G. A15 5G speaker is trash. A54 is slightly better trash but it lets you use atmos and improves it dramatically but not A15 5G due to 1 speaker... A54 can heat up unconfortably when heavy gaming tested major games Diablo, Genshin, Fortnite, etc...and fps dips too much that the stutter can cost you the game.

@@beatspopo Get the A34. I could afford both the A34 and thA54, but I didn't like the glass on the back and the Exynos processor. The A34 never heats, photos are good enough for personal use, optical image stabilization, 4K (if you need that, I don't), battery lasts for at least 2 days without gaming, AND it's a very tough build.
