I don't know if it's a worthy upgrade but one thing I know for sure is that the actual one UI 5.1 based on Android 13 is a pain in the ass, battery draining, could barely last on 4 days standby, heating problems when charging. If the new one UI 6 based on Android 14 also suffers from battery draining issues, then the galaxy a15 is just not worth it, if that answers your question

@@danteerskine7678That’s the nature of Samsung’s turd of an OS. Poorly optimized junk software that barely runs on their top of the line phones with 18 Gigs of ram. I can only imagine what a slog it is on a helio pos processor.

Guys trust me it is worth it i bought the a14 when it was released it did have some small lags, not very smooth scrolling and display,very slow charging. I bought the a15 two days ago i noticed a very big difference animation, scrolling, fast charging, better colors but dont buy the 4gb ram version buy 6 or 8

Different CPU's in different areas A14 5G US model has Dimensity 700, Android 13 , A15 5G US model Dimensity 6100 +, Android 14, A14 2 Os's to Android 15 and 4 years of security updates, A15, 4 generations of OS upgrades to Android 18 and 5 years of security maintenance, further you may have to diy the upgrades.

The galaxy a05s has a snapdragon 680 and this device the helio g99. Who is better for you?

G99 is clear. It's using newer architecture and It's released in 2022 rather than 2021. With better gaming capabilities aswell. 680 only uses 4x2.4Ghz A73 and 4x2.0Ghz A53 which is a really old and scammy chip for 2024. G99 uses 2x2.2Ghz A76 and 6x2.0Ghz A55 which is miles ahead. There's already a speed test comparison between A15 4G and A05s. And A15 won all of the test. Features wise A15 also clears. It's never worth it spending 180-190 dollars on an oversized slow phone with only 6/128 memory and LTE connection. It's better to purchase the cheaper 170-210 dollars ones with way better specs and 6/8 128/256 memory.

The display is a big upgrade. However, the entire phone is a bit smaller, and though there is a new processor, performance will still be virtually the same. If they continue this AMOLED trend, then I will really consider the A16. -An A14 user

Although the A15 has an amoled display it's resolution and pixel density is inferior to the A 14. Having looked at both side by side the 14 has a sharper display so to my eyes the amoled display is pointless !

Just buy the A05s or It's counterparts then. Almost everyone prefers a smaller phone not the oversized ones nowadays. As long as it is practical and snappy. Thinner bezels are way better too. Plus It's 170-230 dollars now. It's a total shame if they would still put the same bezels from the A14 at the price in 2024 so they should change it. 😂
