My G9 Pro is super bright and if I have it on full bright to use it outdoors in the sun and then I use it at night in a darkened room, I have to turn it down or it is blindingly bright. The real issue that on reviewer mentions is that the current G9 Pro was rereleased in 2020 with new features like a wide camera mode that uses 2 cameras to pull it off and 4g LTE. The original release date for the G9 Pro was in late 2018 and they later added these new features with a firmware update and made it much better. The only other thing that many reviewers don't mention is that Cricket is currently listed as compatible in the specs and this is a mess. The phone does work on Cricket but they have a list of incompatible phones that includes it because they are only looking at the specs of the original G9 Pro and they think it is only 3G capable! But it works fine if you can badger them enough to activate it. Several have reported that if they get it activated on Cricket it shuts off in a day or to with a message that it is not compatible. When you call Cricket the give an excuse that in 2022 they will not be connecting to 3G and they think this phone will not work. The stupid part of this is that it works now with 3G and 4G and will work after 2022 but Cricket support is not willing to look at the new specs. What they seem to be doing is attempting to force people to buy a phone from them. And the list they send of compatbile phones is really limited with most of them with limited features and are mostly under $100. So if you buy a G9 Pro and they won't activate it or cut off your service then but but up their support line until they activate it to jump over this obvious money sucking scam. You may have to threaten to cancel and go to another service but Cricket is a sub carrier of AT&T and they really don't want to lose any customers. But you should know that the G9 Pro does work on Verizon, T-Mobile/Sprint any other carrier that uses GSM. It may not work on xfinity because they are connecting via the WiFi signals of all their subscribers in an attempt to fake a true wireless service. Just try to get signal in the middle of the mountains. AT&T still has the most complete coverage but the data speed is lower and the competition is quickly catching up. Also, with 5G around the corner, most will want to update in about 2 years to take advantage of the added speed and connectivity. Until then, the G9 Pro is an awesome value.

I can live without a wide-angle camera. I am someone who is always purchased LG phones and I have the LG G7 right now but there is no way to turn it off the off button is Flash with the right side of the phone. That makes it impossible to shut off an LG really doesn't want to know. So I went looking for a good phone that I would enjoy and would turn off basically. I will be happy with the G9 Pro. :-)

You didn't mention that the Blu G-9 has wireless charging.. does the Samsung have a wireless option ? I love Blu phones !! My first was the LifeOne X2 and only stopped using wen I ran out of space.. no option to move pix to SD card.. so either cloud or have no space (cloud is fine wen u have internet !) Then moved to the Blu V7, having a battery issue with this phone. Not even a year old.. waiting for warrantee info from Blu.. Ordered my G9Pro on 7/2/20.. will get here on 7/6 from Best Buy.. $212 with tax.. Thanks for the review !!

The wide angle lens on the A20 is good but if you stepped back a couple of feet with the g9 pro the shot would've looked the same! I think the Blu g9 Pro gives you a lot more for your money!

Colour me confused, but why would you create a phone that has a maximum video recording resolution of 720p, but install a camera that has the capability of 1080p 🤔🤔🤔 This little nugget of confusion has always baffled me. The biggest problem in my opinion, is that you'll find the idiot taking the video in "Portrait" mode......... Which kind of makes the entire 1080p resolution moot, because you can Not turn around and tell me "They want to view it on their Flat Panel TV" because I don't know of anyone that will man handle their 70" TV and stick it on its side just to view their "handiwork" 🤷🤷🤷 Ps. two great phones at a really good price range. Still not sure if I should be a fan of AMOLED screens with all the burn in a lot of people are experiencing, but you just can't beat the clarity of that type of display.

But all 3 phones are great so the brightness isn't too big of a deal. ☺️ It's not going to make me buy it or make me not buy it. 👍 Just 1 of the features.
