Thanks for the video.... Followed the steps and completed the repair. Needed to jimmy the case a bit as the blow dryer heated the phone up but didn't see any visions loosening of the case cover. I also cracked the original screen taking it off so was committed after that point. Getting it off safely with buttons and screen plug in intact was the tricky bit. Installing the new screen was a piece of cake! Thanks again.

Just fixed a screen using this video. Got it all done. Screen took a while to get off and one touch button is a bit unresponsive but the job got done and we saved some money. Nuff said.

Can u reuse the digitizer if it's only the actual screen that's knackered and use a simple £10 replacement screen?

+D2DAJIZZELLE If the digitiser is in good shape then I do believe you can. But if the digitiser is damaged then its damaged beyond repair.

Did anyone notice that when he said he preheated it, he was talking for a while (enough for it to have cooled down which would have made it much harder to do) and during him taking the screen off, the whole screen moved. It was obviously a set up and it was off the phone anyway.

Can you please tell me if this method works for A3 2016? Samsung want £92 to replace the camera lens, and me thinks they are trying to rip me off. Lens is about 10 on ebay, and if taking it apart is as easy as it looks in the this video, then I'll be doing it myself.

You make it look so easy. I got a cheep one from China when i was putting t on it wouldn't quite fit one of the chips top left seemed to be stopping it sitting flush. Any one had that problem.

This was nothing like my phone and it was a3 A310F 2016,the ribbon cable goes around the back inside.So is it worth replaced both back and front screen,what if they breaks again while repairing it.And a original Samsung cover is not cheap,and Chinese ones I read dont fit properly either.Better off sending to Samsung professionally done or Upgrading.Your Choice..

Hi, can you just replace just the glass? instead of replacing the LCD display? I have just dropped my phone and there is a massive crack going through the screen but it does not affect the display. If this is the case then how do i go about just replacing the glass ? Also it works out to be something like £60 cheaper to just replace the glass then the screen. However i cannot find a video to show me. Plus i do not want to go to a repair shop and them charge me a stupid price (Plus i never trust phone shops because you never know what they might do). Thanks for any help in advance!

Hey guys, I just replaced an A3 screen and while doing it i had to warm up the screen. When taking apart the copper from the screen came off and it had a sweaty very bad smell. I smelled it from closer and since then i feel sick a bit and my throat feels like a ball has stuck in it. Anyone has the same experience? Sorry for the dumb question...

when the phone freezes it´s probaly a software defect and not the fault from the Display. Try to reset your handy and when the screen is still freezing you must change the display
