Thank you PBK , very well done. How the battery was dessigned and housed on this Samsung model is a complete disater. I'm sure there are plenty of users who simply tried to take the battery out as they have always done on a cell phone, and quickly found that there Samsung was broken. Thanks Suamsung ;- (

No fancy "plastic pry tool" needed. Did fine with a Van der Hagen razor blade from Walmart, easily retrievable from my bathroom cabinet, paired with a clean pop top from a Fancy Feast cat food can in the kitchen dish drainer. Nothing like using what's on hand when it's 4AM and you accidentally knocked the phone into a bowl of water in the bathroom sink, when you've just arrived home from the country and discovered a tick burrowed in your flesh and you're having a hard time pulling it out... I think that's Murphy's Law, isn't it? When it's been a long night and one thing goes wrong, a whole cascade of things will go wrong in quick succession 😂 ‼️ Thank you so much for this video!
@PBKreviewsАй бұрын
you're welcome, and yeah anything that works to use can be used. Only reason plastic is preferred is to minimize damage to the frame/housing as well as possible shorting if it touched anything internally it shouldn't while the battery is connected.

I'm not the only one who thinks all phones should, by default, have an easily expandable/replaceable/attachable internet antenna, right? Especially for people who have jobs which require them to travel to the middle of the jungle where there are dead spots everywhere. And since without internet, phones are no longer phones.

I don't think the coaxial cables (those wires you were referring to) would have anything to do with it powering on. But the display cable being loose or having an issue can be what is causing it or a loose battery cable.

@PBKreviews2 жыл бұрын
You can try taking it apart and disconnecting the battery cable, then drying out any liquid or moisture inside and then brushing off any corrosion around the connectors or chips with a tooth brush and put it back together and see if it will work. If not, you would either need a new screen or its possible the the chips on the board went bad somewhere. Usually with water damage, you want to avoid using the phone until its been taken apart and completely dried out/cleaned of corrosion so the phone wont short.

According to this video. Checklist + = Its Fine and X = Malfunction +Phone is Powered(Battery) +Vibration Works +Physical Buttons Works X Screen Is Black all dark X Charging Port isnt Working X No Data Sync X Fingerprint Sensor Not Working X Touchscreen Isnt Working WIth this video it has to do with the blue or white wiring and the Screen ribbon disconected from the top Motherboard from the bottom motherboard so the bottom motherboard and top motherboard arent getting any power from each other.

The flex cable for the screen which connects to the main board is also the same flex cable which connects the sub board (charger port board) to the main board. You would need to take it apart and make sure that the flex cable did not get disconnected from the main board as well as the sub board. If still doesn't work, its possible the screen is damaged and shorting causing it not to work.
