Hi my friend thanks for the video. Quick question trying to repair my phone but the replacement i bought doesnt come with the silver piece that has thebgrey cross in the bottom.left corner or the onenwith the black cross thats just below the front facing camera. Are these pieces removable?

What is the best of adhesive you can recommend for the back of phone? The pre-cut is not available in all unit...planning to use double sided type

Usually if one is not available, I like to use another one from a similar phone and modify it if needed (cut it down to size etc). The adhesive roles I have not had the best results with but here is a video explaining a bit more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/imXMmoOLfrJqY7s

You can use glue for screens, as it allows simple application. You only have to leave it be for 24 hours. Double sided tape is certainly not recommended. If you´re gonna have to disassemble it again in the future, it will give you much harder time.

A53 has slightly better cameras, but aside from that, its mainly the same. So up to you if you need the better cameras or not.

i have a question, why my a33's back side vibrates when playing audio. exactly center part of the back above the battery and graphite pad. and the audio coming out from the down speaker seems dull to me

Yes, it does vibrate a lot. Perhaps it has too powerful speakers (?).

Thanks for the video mate, very useful. I changed the usb dock connector a few weeks ago, and since then I have a weak phone signal, should I change the red/blue antenna coaxial cables? They look ok, but maybe the contact between them and the mobo are not the best. The same day I update to One Ui 6.1, so I'm not totally sure where is the problem.

make sure the sub board is the correct model. There are different region models for the sub boards with different antenna contacts on them. If you replace it with one that is a different region version, you will run into signal issues. You're phone model SM-A.... rest should match what sub board version you get.

You are right. I just tried with the old one, and I don't have any connection issues. The new one I ordered is the right one for my model, SM-A336B but the P/N is different than the original one. I just ordered a (second) new one with the same P/N than the original dock connector. Let's see if I'm luckier this time. Thanks for your help mate

Thanks. You can, but there is always a chance of damaging the working screen when prying it off. You can use a hair dryer since there is less of a chance of overheating and damaging it. Isopropyl alcohol can be used too if you see its too difficult but that sometimes causes the glass to partially separate from the screen layer or gets under the screen and leaves marks. So you can first try using a hair dryer to heat up the screen, and you can use a suction cup tool to help you lift up to try n get a pry tool in between the screen and frame, but don't go too deep in with the tool or you will damage the screen.

Hi, i just have a question. My phone did not charge because of water leak for 3 months. I tried charging it several times in the past but did not worked, but not until 2 days ago. I fully charged it, and observed for 2 days, everythings seemed to work fine. I even run diagnostics, all is good. Will my a33 be fine? No, it's not a good idea to use it like that. Your phone can short from corrosion inside and cause it to completely die and you will lose your data. Also the battery might be bloating causing the back to come off or lift off. You will need to take it apart, dry out any water inside, use a small brush like a tooth brush to brush off any corrosion on chips or connectors and then put it back together. If anything has gone bad like the battery bloating, you will need to replace it to prevent any hazard.

It could be a bad charger, bad charger port, or bad battery not sure, you would need to test them out one by one to rule it out.

the rom is soldered to the board. Its under one of the covered metal shields and is similar in size and shape to the RAM.

The graphite pad would transfer heat to the frame from the processor, but yeah I would prefer thermal paste and graphite film instead.

Eagerly waiting for the year 2027 when the new European Union Battery regulation will require manufacturers to provide an easy way to replace batteries. I now have to find a replacement phone for my Nokia 8.1 just because its battery has swollen (although it's still holding the charge well). It's not easy to find a good phone with smaller screen sizes (under 6.3") these days, and also a good battery and NFC and clean-ish Android experience.

It can allow moisture or debris into the phone fogging up your camera lens or causing other issues over time. Shouldn't be too difficult. Use a hair dryer to heat it up and then you can use a suction cup tool to lift a portion of it up or a thin tool to get in between the frame and the back plate of the phone and then work your way around prying it off.

When my phone IC was damaged...lol didn't know which IC. The repair guy said in uae the entire motherboard needed repair...which I think he lied. So now I have check the phone and see which IC....how do I know which one is damaged? A lady who has no clue until I studied the phone diagram.
