A35 seems to be a faster idea than A71 but not something significant, however for a phone from 4 years ago, A71 still holds up very well, I have an A71 compared to A35, I don't think it's worth upgrading, it wouldn't be a major upgrade, maybe only the A55 with a slightly better performance and more premium materials than the A35 or directly a Galaxy S model.
