Correction on the swipe gestures (navigation bar): To access recent apps, you need to swipe up and hold it. It is not about the length of swipe (as you said, swipe up partially), but the duration of pause at the end of your swipe. I don't mean to sound aggressive tho.

where I live I have three 4g towers right next to me but the closest 5g tower is way far so when I'm at home my phone struggles to get service everything just buffers I go from zero bars to 5 bars if I go to settings/connection there's no place to turn off 5g all I get is automatic or manual please can someone help Verizon hasn't done anything my A42 needs only 4g to work it stays on 5g 99% and 4g 1%

The sides are well rounded which should be a standardised design for holding the phone. I've been using this for past 4 years. As of now, it's still working like new. GREAT BANG FOR BUCK!!!! Camera lens quite overkill though...😢

I have a galaxy a 42 5G phone. It drops calls all the time from inside my house. my wife’s calls on her Samsung galaxy S21 do not get dropped. They changed my Sim card saying that should fix the problem and it seem to for a short time but then it just started dropping them again. any ideas short of buying a new phone?

It does NOT have the Always-on Mode. I just purchased one and there is no setting for it. Googled how to do it which confirmed there is no setting for it.

I lock my screen when it is not active. I already set my camera for quick launch at double press of the side key. But when I double press the side key, it doesn't launch the camera, instead it goes to the lock screen asking for my pin. The double press does not launch the camera even when my home screen is active. Instead it locks me out of my screen. What do I do wrong?

Hello Hoping this will notice as possible 🥺. I would like to ask if one of the issues of samsung is battery? Because I just bought a samsung a42 5g, it's been 4 days since I've used it now and I seem to have noticed any defects or issues with my new device, especially the battery, he said it's 5k Mah and the battery life will long for 2days, but based on my experience especially I used him 2 times in my work which is food panda or food courier. I used it wholeday from full charge 10:48 am to 5:29 pm the remaining battery was 32% plus It was in a power saving mode and I have only 4 apps. which is a big difference to my brothers phone before is I borrowed only. (realme c2 and it is only 4k mah)
