The a51 is good, but companies don't optimize it. A42 is good, but the notch is 2018 and same with the screen. But they are both good phones!

I like the a42 5g but I'm using an a51 but the problem is the 720p resolution on the a42 5g. Samsung needs to realize 720p is out of date

@@andrewwarner7580 I do love the super amoled display thats one of the main reasons why I bought the a51, the super amoled display on the a20 is a good looking screen its just 720p though thats where it bothers me because I use my phone like its my own TV so I want at least 1080p instead of 720p

What is the point of having 5G and 720p in the same phone?? If A42 would have 1080p screen I would buy it without 2nd thought. However the 720p is almost a deal breaker

What were they thinking releasing a phone with only 720p resolution in 2021 entering the era of 5G? $330 and not even FHD? lower it to $220 and might think about it

Where can I get 8Gig Version of A51 in US? Idk why people are super crazy insane about camera..loll. If you care so much about camera then go buy proffetional camera for $5000. And if you don't have 20/20 vision it ain't gonna do you any good and ugly people will still be ugly...:) but more sharply ugly too.

I own A51. CPU a bit sluggish, i would recommend A42 instead, but I think the screen-size of A51 is a bit too big (hard to reach icons with the thumb, but maybe there is a setting to make the icons closer to the thumb? I have larger hands mind you).

I also own a51 but thank god its asian version so no 4gb of ram, based model is 6gb. Still find some lag but rarely. About icons just try one hand mode you can find it in setting
