Isn't it really sad that the Galaxy S2 from 2011 has a better performance than the Galaxy A5? I mean wtf, there are almost 4 year difference between the phones

VR96FE You're wrong. The problem itself is not the performace with the A5. The problem is that all GTAs on Android aren't optimized for Snapdragon 410. So i would say in you're place: 'Isn't it really sad, that Snapdragon 410 is debuted nearly 2 years ago and Rockstar Games didn't optimized any of the GTAs for it?' BTW if you don't believe me, search after Antutu scores on both devices. Then you will see that isn't the performance is the problem here.

Yes thats probably true, but look at the benchmark tests of the A5. Its worse than the S3 which is also like 3 years old.

My phone might be worse than all of these phones besides the A3. I have an LG F6 I play san andreas with 0% resolution, 100% draw distance (I hate pop in), effects on medium, traffic on classic, shadows off or low, reflections off. It's playable most of the time but when you get into San Fiero and there's a lot of traffic, it definitely chugs probably at 15-25fps lol I mainly just want to replace my phone because of how unbelievably bad the internal storage is, or lack of internal storage. Even with the phone rooted so I can install and play almost all games from an SD card, I've still run out of space basically. I still have 160mb left on the internal storage, but it still never lets me install smaller apps that can't go on the SD even with my hacks enabled. I really hate Android and google play for not completely allowing us to install games to an SD card.

adrianisen I've noticed that you always choose the analog steering. Why don't you try the buttons steering? For me it's much more easier to drive with it than with the others :) Nice video btw, having breakfast while watching it.

+adrianisen all tho the S2 has the best performance because of it's version of "Touch Wiz", it's optimized for gaming, and the S4 has a really crappy performance because it's version isn't optimized, if you install the same version of "Touch Wiz" on any of the phones, the result shall be better performance, at least that is my opinion!

on a paper, Alpha is the strongest performer out of all these phones followed by S5, S4 and then S3. lemme break it down for you. Alpha = Exynos 5430 (4xA15 @1.8GHz + 4xA7 @1.3GHz + Mali628MP6 + 2GB RAM) screen @ 720p S5 = SD801 (4xKrait 400 @2.5GHz + Adreno 330) screen 1080p S4 = SD600 (4xKrait 300 @1.9GHz + Adreno 320) screen 1080p so yeah, i don't know how Alpha performs even worse than S5 and the outdated S4.

if you play close attention the alpha has a couple apps open in the background which none of the others have I have an alpha and San Andreas runs smoothly on Max miles better that it does on my friends s5

Dark Sonic probably, but a few running apps in the background shouldn't really compromise Alpha's performance until that extent, where the fps drops considerably low compared to S2 on San Andreas.

+MyWayne1993 yeah, but it does at least on my alpha sometimes mostly when it's running low on battery like on 20% or something like that is starts being rather slow when multiple apps are open and the phone has been in usage for a while, also if you realised all of them startes from the beginning with the exception of the alpha which hints he was using it before
