@DANIEL CHUKWUKERE i think S20 has flagship level features minus that look or back glass...It has got flagship processor, better 12M actual camera, 30x zoom like s20 plus, IP 68... But frankly, A52s 5g could have won if they would have included the same 12MP sensor camera and zoom as in s20 fe 5g... Because A52s 5g is splash proof and it has a good processor, actually a new better chipset which can compete with s20 fe 5g SD 865 processor easily... Still with a price drop upto 35k s20fe 5g is a better option...

Thank you for a great comparison. Overall I think the average smart phone user would be hard pushed to see any real advantage with the S20FE. I really think Samsung understand the customer, many people on a budget still want a satisfying camera experience and I think the A52 delivers that unless you're really fussy. I make You Tube videos in 1080p with a tripod and I can see the A52 meeting all my needs. ATB MMMD

It does seem that all A52 4K video stabilizes if you don't move the camera at all, like if people are moving really fast that should be ok. But in most cases I suppose 1080p is best, it'll create a smaller file size anyways.

Isaque tive o Note 10 plus, e vou te falar muito bom massss. Bateria acaba muito rápido o bom que vai de 0 a 100% em 1hr, Esquenta bastante durante os jogos e filmagens em 4k. pelo preço hoje iria de s20fe. obs: o meu note quebrou em um acidente de carro, funciona, mas não tem mais o display então não tem como desbloquear e não encontro o display frontal, nem a samsung tem (kkk). ou seja esta parado em casa. Espero ter ajudado

The selfie camera on A52 seems to work better, but the caim camera of the S20 works better, zooming and stabilization are very good. The price are not that diferent from each other. But... We should remember that the CPU of the S20 consumes more battery, so the A52 have a battery that last longer (i watched tons reviews of people saying this). You comparison was awesome and very clear. I'd say that the a52 wins for night mode; at 13:41 the a52 picks up more stars, shows more details in the shadows, and doesn't have the greenish tinge on the building like the s20 fe. I'd like to try capturing the milky way with it, a while ago I used my gopro 9 to capture the milky way in a low light area with quite a bit of detail including dark areas from dust and and bright areas from star clusters. (Used full manual settings and raw) I'd like to see how the a52 compares

👏👏👏Thank you so much for this comparison. I was on the fence at the at&t store because they never give enough info. I really wanted that video comparison. The stabilization I the S20 FE was the detail I needed! The lens on the FE seems a bit clearer. I learned years ago that mega pixels isn't everything the lens glass plays a giant roll in the quality of the photos. Highest pixels on the planner mean nothing if your looking through frosted plexiglass. Thank you again. You helped me decide on my new phone! 👏👏👏

Both are great for the price range, and rather close to each other in terms of overall quality. The S20 FE has a bit more detail (look at the grass often, or the texture of fabric like the baseball cap or shirt). Also the S20 FE has richer colors, more saturated (maybe software trickery too tho...), but also I see a bit better dynamic range (pictures with light and shadow -> more detail and better contrast) Super-great video, thank you Grant! :))

In Canada the a52 4g I'm seeing on Amazon and may buy is 560 bucks. The s20 fe is 715 bucks for white and the lavender I wanted was almost 1000$ and I'm 100 percent not gonna pay an extra 230 bucks for a different color, but maybe since I'm planning to buy one of these phones in 4 months and I'm saving up rn, maybe there will be a sale? So I'm going to watch this video and give a conclusion.

Looks very similar to me great video. Both have same size sensor on main camera and ultrawide. Just a52 has too many megapixels and pixel bins. Zoom is irrelevant on s20 fe as has tiny sensor and gets upscaled. Digital zoom is waste of time too. End of the day the A52s is £200 cheaper than the s20 fe for more or less the same phone so I know which one I'd go for.

That's really great video! For my needs, I think the S20FE is a much better choice, but I think it depends a lot on the needs and preferences: Main camera: - S20FE: much better in daylight, nicer color processing, more accurate focus, much nicer skin colors - A52: tendency to magenta in skin colors, often unnaturally overprocessed Ultrawide: - S20FE: nicer colors in daytime - A52: more resolution Front camera: - S20FE: much more detail, more natural looking exposure, better skin colors - A52: blurrier face, inconsistent in colors, tendency to magenta Video: - S20FE: way better in daytime, better stabilization, better exposure, more details especially in faces - A52: unusable Nighttime: - Photos with main camera inconsistent on both, hard to tell which on is better - Photos with the ultrawide are bad on both, but A52 little less bad - Videos in Nighttime both unusable, but A52 better focus, S20FE more detail in faces

The details you can get from S20 FE you can't get it from any Samsung's 2021 phones, including the S21 Ultra, S21 plus, and S21 regular. The main lens of the S20 FE is very powerful. Just look at the intro video between the two, you can see all the micro details in your face on the FE while the 52 smooth everything on your face. I bought the S21 Ultra and returned it because the FE actually takes pictures better than it

I switched my s21 back for a52 I prefer the the ability to expand storage and 3.5 headphones jack. Qualities of the freedom of a phone should never be tampered with. My opinion, I can always tweak edit the photos. Great video

The mega pixel doesn't necessarily define the quality of photos. It plays out mostly to the type of camera sensors they are using. Megapixels are just a way of "hyping" up and a marketing strategy.

I really dislike reviewers that don't really know how to properly show, review and compare a camera. KZbinrs that does this does not get enough cred, It's the absolutely hardest job. This video for comparing the devices. The camera on the a52 sometimes seem to outperform the S20 FE. But when it comes to recording the s20 seem to be a way better choice. It's a class diference. I wonder why? does it come to the faster chip?

Photowise, they both seems pretty similar and trade blows in some ways. The only different I can see, is the color science and lens combination. I'm suprised A52 5G catch up S20 FE on photography. But when it comes to video, I think the better processor on S20 FE shows it's advantage here, the stabilization and hdr just blows A52 away. Both actually pretty good for their budget.

Don't have the Mi 11 Lite. iPhone is entirely diff from Android, so get iPhone if you want an IPhone, not much to compare. Between the A52 5G and S20 FE, I'd go S20 FE for camera and performance.

The camera of the s20 fe is without a doubt the best, the colors are more realistic, better whites and greens above all, and at night it is seen with more lighting as well as the videos, without a doubt I head towards the s20 fe even if it costs a little more, it is much more worth it and I will not regret it in the long run.

In Italy the FE is 100€ more expensive and has no 3.5mm Jack. Plus the a52 will have 3 years of updates
