It's a matter of personal preference. Headphone jack and micro sd expansion are a necessity for me. If A52 had a removable battery it would be a bonus. A52 is perfect for my needs.

This, a SD slot and 3.5 jack is a must for my also. If those are missing, then I will just pass it by.

@@themadatheist1976 I never knew how much I needed those until I bought the Samsung A52 4G.. the camera and display might be a bit step down from my iPhone xs max but everything else is just better. About performance? I never really notice since I only use light apps like KZbin, Reddit & Telegram.

99% of people don't need an ultra, period. 99% use a phone for Facebook, Instagram, KZbin, TikTok and messaging, period. I going to buy the a52 5g for my mom for $325. Samsung is giving $75 for her old s8, plus $75 rebates and $25 workplace discount. Not bad at all.

Well my use case is different, I love to take lots of videos and pictures and have lots of games always available on my phone and download films so that I don't have to use my mobile data all the time.

Don't like in display fingerprint readers, got to wipe the prints off after unlock. Feel the best place for a reader would be on the back where it's not as easy to accidentally turned on the phone unlike the the side reader on my Redmi Note 9S.

Nice review. As to my liking I prefer the display of the A52 to the S21 ultra. The white balance is better on the A52. That is of course my taste.

No SD Expansion slot on the S21 takes it out of the running for me automatically. Too bad this video gives the impression that the S21 has SD card memory expansion capability when it doesn't.

As a user of the A52s 5G - since September 2021, its been great. I use it to film videos in this account. The battery life survived me through the day, up until fairly recently where I regularly have to charge in the evening. I spend 4-5hrs filming most Saturdays, which has put strain on the battery and may last linger in your hands. Display has been lovely, no noticeable glitches or issues. Sometimes it's a bit slow at loading pages in busy areas but nothing to worry about. I don't really game on my device, but roblox runs on full graphics well. Any questions, send a comment

I have played with an S21 Ultra before, I love the features, but I don't really like the phone because it's entirely too heavy, I feel like if I drop it one time it's over with. Bought the A52 5G.

@@O9-NN yeah I haven't been playing games on it, that's what Playstation is for. If I play anything it'll be a simple game so no worries there but I've heard it plays the demanding games with no problems

A52 5g is decent at best, shit fingerprint scanner if you actually use the phone more than a week..shit optimization average cpu that cant keep up at certain times, camera is ok, etc..

Jesus Christ, 1.2k for a phone, I can never see myself spending that much. Just dropped that much on my gaming laptop. Highest I spent was $250 for a 6/128GB RAM/ROM Redmi Note 9S last year, and another $50 for a 512GB micro SD card. The Snapdragon 720G is powerful enough for some of the GameCube games I emulate on it.

A52 5G has Snapdragon 750G and it's even more faster than Snapdragon 720G, more power efficient so it can play Wii games.

I'd gladly spend 1k on a phone. If you think about it, we use our phone more than our car! Why not invest a good amount in a phone that should last you 3-5 years, and still give you a ton of money back when you sell it? I'm thinking about getting a Mi 11 Ultra, or a Xiaomi 12 Ultra when it comes out. At the very least, I'd invest in a newly released flagship phone.
