Finally something in the mid-range category that is faster than my 2018 Huawei Mate 20 that comes with a headphone jack. Snapdragon 778G outperforms Kirin 980 which the rest of the mid-range processors were just unable to do until now.

After my previous 2 phones (Huawei mate 20 pro and Galaxy Note 10 plus) it's so refreshing having all the good stuff back. Expandable storage and a headphone jack together with all the rest ... Awesome display, great sound, it feels great to me, hell of battery life, great camera etc. I would have never thought that a phone at this price could convince me so much.

I looked at the photos, some are awful, completely out of focus, this can happen on all phones, like the bench ones. I guess you used automatic mode, I rarely do that, only do it if I can't use anything else or know it will work but I always focus manually unless I can't then I go crazy with the burst. Have you tried the Pro mode? It would be nice with a manual focus, iso, shutter speed, compare with other phones with photos taken at same settings if the app allows, not all apps allow fine tuning of iso and shutter, some allow much finer adjustment. Automatic does butt work well on any phone, but I find it works best in well lit but cloudy then overexposed photos don't happen, atleast on my xz premium, but of course the angle you shoot at in sunny conditions matter. I will get a proper camera anyway.

You got it slightly misleading about the price at 6:41 . The Galaxy A52 4g has mrp of 26000. With offers, it also can be purchased at 23000. So effectively, the price difference is 10000 and that for a better processor, 5g bands and 120hz refresh rate. Too overpriced still.

You might want to look at it closer. I have 2 of the 256gb / 8gb phones in white. There's a thin box in the upper cover that includes a very nice clear silicone (?) case. Also mine sure looks like it has a screen protector installed. I haven't picked at it but I can see the edges and the cut out around the lens. On all my previous phones the glass covers the lens but the screen protectors are cut away there.

It's the same as before. Android gestures won't work. But on galaxy a series phones, you can install Samsung OneHandOperatiob+ from Galaxy Store and configure the side gestures while still using 3rd party launchers. That's what i have

Excellent review! Thanks mate! I think that, as it is One UI, the 8 GB variant makes more sense in the long run. In that case, spend a bit extra and get S20 FE 5G, and you’ll get that UFS 3.1 storage.

This is my favorite review of this phone! I got this phone for 3600 Norwegian krones, 409 USD/306 EUR/30380 INR, its great considering what you get for the price! Before I would only buy toplist/flagship devices, but im not using those top-end features anymore.. This phone is the best deal I have seen in a while. Its a really great package and I love it..

The fact is phone don't have dedicated sensor for face unlock and its relying on poor front selfie camera, I observed that selfie camera can unlock with face unlock mechanism only when there is kind of direct light on my face In the video I have captured face in small room with tubelight by showing back to tube light (This shouldn't be an problem since front camera is able to capture face for face unlock) and after that I have tried to unlock face multiple times but it did not succeed and when i turned my face in front of light, it started unlocking phone, again when i turned back, its failed to detect my face. I cannot have light on my face all the time while face unlock and that's why its failing to unlock face in 1st attempt most of the times What is your observation?

Pre owned, not a good idea Pixel 5, not too great long term. A52s is fairly recent, ensured 4 years of android updates, water and dust resistant.. It may not be as powerful, but unless you are a gamer, it will be sufficient for you. Expandable storage..3.5mm headphone jack are all a plus

The Fan Edition is a premium midranger with mostly flagship specs. It's also has wireless charge, reverse wireless charge, better battery life, better color production in the pictures, better fingerprint sensor. It's in a class of it's own, easily one of the best phones of 2020. But the S21 FE will be out in October-November so might be worth waiting for that.

I have an a52s 5g and had the same problem, luckily you can make fingerprint sensor snappy just by changing a few settings. Go to 1. settings < display < enable increased touch sensitivity. 2. Then remove your saved fingerprints and reconfigure it again. (for better and faster recognition you can setup the same finger multiple times) 3. settings < special access < battery optimisation < disable com.samsung.biometrics. 4. Settings < fingerprints < disable animations.

They do. I bought 2 of the 256gb storage 8gb ram versions for $443 each. 4G LTE works on tmobile and red pocket (AT&T). WiFi calling works on both. T-Mobile will set up for 5g but I don't have a way of testing it here in the boonies. This phone has some of the USA 5g frequencies from AT&T and T-Mobile but not all of them. So 5g is a gamble if that's important to you. I don't need 5g data so I don't care. Mine came with clear silicone cases and screen protectors installed.

This is not green, seriously. Mint green is how the s20 fe looks. This looks like an off white color. It's faded and such an utter disappointment. Wish i'd gone with violet, that looks much better. Or done away with the a52s altogether and paid a 100 bucks more for the s20 fe.
