One thing to keep in mind is that the A52 5g has the Snapdragon 750G 5G. This processor is manufactured in Samsung's fab with their 8nm LPP node for Qualcomm. The A52s 5G has the Snapdragon 778G 5G. This processor is manufactured in TSMC's fab with their 6nm N6 node for Qualcomm. Typically over the past few generations of smartphones TSMC manufactured processors have been more power efficient. Thus having better battery life. Which some may consider to be the most important thing about a smartphone. Now obviously things can change and real world tests must be done to see which fabs improve their manufacturing over time. However, the galaxy A52s 5G has the potential to be one of the best devices on the market. I can't wait to consider picking one up!

It's still very fast, sort of in the mid range of high charging speeds. You might not want the 25watt, all the time at least. Over time it can make the battery lose charge faster.

The only difference is that it will charge faster and the 25w is actually supported so if one car drives at 80km/h, and another at 120km/h, they both still reach their destination, same with electrons. The reason why Samsung has given a 15w charger is so that they can make extra money when people buy accessories.

I like it because it feels like a pseudo flagship. 256gb storage and 8gb RAM, IP67 water resistance, Snapdragon 778G, 120HZ screen, etc. Don't get me wrong, it's not a flagship and some of the specs above are more of last generation flagship specs, but it has enough of those to make you feel that you're holding something a bit above mid range. Definitely feels like a premium phone.

Picked one up yesterday. For about $300. With trade-in and bonus. 8/256 variant awesome violet. Coming from an s10e singe sim. What I miss is the dex mode which I dont really use and the small form factor. But other than that this holds up pretty well in terms of performance. It has a free screen protector and silicon case in the box too. Waiting for the freebies from samsung itbit wireless earphones and a silicon case with stand.

Unfortunately Monty , this is the new samsung mate , it was all down hill after the note 9 and S10 models, even the highest end models of today have features and accessories missing that where once considered definite features in every galaxy. Samsung has devalued its higher end models big time in my book , and i suspect some of it may have been to make the folding devices look more palatable , and no galaxy note this year just pushes that point even further imo .

I have the regular a52 with 256gb. Could not wish anything better! Okay the color science of the iphones camera is still better. That said I am very impressed of the galaxy camera that produced amazing photos. I don't need 5g at this moment and the phone is still a quite fast phone and has a wonderful 90hz bright screen. A must have!

From a samsung galaxy S5, it's a definite upgrade. If you're still able to put up with an S5, then samsung is that good, so you don't need to have any doubts. And yes, the promised 3 years OS updates should keep your phone from lag for at least three to five years.
