Surprised they ditched such a standard feature, now we have to get a USB-C adapter just to plug in a headset. Other than that inconvenient omission, this phone is beautiful. It offers high quality features, some of which are only found in their top-tier models. This cell is definitely a keeper, especially for the price.

I’m an iPhone user but I saw a video review for the Samsung a13 5g where they said to turn off the animations for launching apps and that eliminates most of the lag when opening apps. Also, I used to have Android phones in the past and you’d be surprised how many people in 2022 still have to be told to routinely use the memory cleaner that releases RAM and your cache. That’s very vital to the android setup and if you don’t maintain your phone, apps will crash and you’ll have lagging and other issues too. I’m sure the Exynos chipset is part of the problem on the a53 5g but most reviews I’ve seen on phones that had that chipset pointed out it’s not crazy bad. Yeah you’ll get the odd hang up or stutter but even iPhones sometimes do that too. I’m impressed by the a53 5g and if Samsung had released the a33 5g I might’ve ended up getting that phone. I love my iPhone XR but it isn’t equipped for 5g and even mid range Samsung phones have many different things iOS doesn’t.

The speakers are amazing, better than my prior S21. I abandoned that one, as I really need the expandable memory. As I am a blind user and utilize the TalkBack screen reader, I do wish there were a stronger vibration intensity. That is akin to wishing for a screen with more contrast. :) They also need to update the Samsung TtS version from the 3.1.02.95 to the --97. Even my S9 has that version, but again, that one is unlocked, whereas this one is locked to our carrier, but I've been reassured through Samsung that the new version will get here. I notice what you are saying in the performance area, only when pointed out to me, and not noticeable in every day tasks.

That slight magenta hue is disappointing, and I don't need another device nearby to notice it. Color accuracy bothers the shit out of me.

Why did they do away of phones with IP ratings or expandable memory? What is available now? I'm not finding anything I would like to get into that is newer than this. Great video by the way.

I just got my 2022 A53 almost 2 months ago and I paired it with my 2017 Toyota Corolla and when people call me in my car they cannot hear me. I am being told my voice sounds like an alien ? This is a serious safety issue. Anyone else having this issue ? Dealership says its not a car issue. Samsung says it's s car issue? Either way I can't to speak to anyone from my car .

Good video. The perks are what I'm looking for and the drawbacks don't bother me (going to run in 60hz for battery savings). Gave me what I needed to know.

Let's start off with I got the phone for free through xfinity. After 4 months of owning, never dropped never any hard usage it started to randomly shut off and on called a boot loop. Still covered under manufacturers warranty so just had to send in today. But had to add a whole other line and get a whole other phone to be able to have my phone number able to use.

Alot has to do with all the bloat. Clean it out and tweak it some and see the difference in how it runs. I'm pulling 2580s multi-core on mine. It gets battery for days and yes the screen is bigger than the S22 by a lot.

I paid £249 for my brand new A53 5G on the October Prime day and have no complaints. Because the phone is only 6 months old, I will get 4.5 years of security updates. The Exonos processor seems fast to me, and it will play all of my games. PS I have read that Samsung have a glut of unsold A series phones and so there will be lots of opportunities to buy them cheaply on Black Friday.
