This is not a similarly priced device, at least in Asia pacific. There is a price difference of at least 70 to even 100 US dollars, depending on the chargers 67w or 120w in the box. A fair comparison will be with Realme 9pro plus camera sensor.

Well if you want better you have to pay for it. Samsu g gives you more support, IP 67 rating and I know this is a camera comparison but seriously I have an S21 Ultra and I also had the A 52s5g and the pictures are always amazing especially with moving subjects like pets or kids. The Xiaomi pcis look washed out to me....that's not reality that's bad software optimisation. Plus if you want to get a good deal atm go for the A52s5G which is running on a snapdragon.

The Samsung is totally dominating this.. The sound of the microphone is superior as well. The night time pictures was "night and day difference" (yes a pun). The front facing camera is a massive difference as well and the video. The very first test even though the Samsung might show a little more saturation, it's still the better picture and more pleasant of the two.

I think overall, samsung does get an edge here, but I still think that xiaomi is worth buying, esspecially when you look at other stuff(3mm jack, 67W charger, and other extras like the case etc, also it is a little bit cheaper as well. Also I know that this is personal preference but samsungs back just looks so cheap, and I really don't like it like at all, it's wird saying that xiaomi looks more premium but it acutally does!

One fault the A53 has is it saturates colors too much in Samsung fashion. People like popping colors but this is not necessarily a good thing. Otherwise it is obviously the superior phone in terms of camera. The dynamic range is clearly far better on Samsung and it matters a lot.

Coming from a Poco F1, the only reason I switched to this Samsung is the fact that I will be able to find parts for the phone. My poco has a bad loudspeaker and I'm unable to find one. Also, you can find a case and screen protector at every corner for A53. Sadly, from the looks of it, the rom modding community basically doesn't exist even if this A53 is very popular.

@Redskull it happened many times honestly because of my job. I had xiaomi and samsung and apple. My Mi note 10 camera lenses, got so dusty that i couldn't capture anything with it. I also had a samsung S7 which worked perfectly, even after 5 years.
