I'm willing to purchase s23 but only one thing i am worried about is how the battery will perform in the long run as i am planning to use the phone for 3-4 years. Right now i am having xiaomi 11 lite ne 5g with 4250 mah which gives me sot of 4.5hrs max (casual usage) and I have to charge it twice in a day earlier when i bought it a year ago it gave me sot of a good 6 hrs+ now its degraded...is it same case with samsung?

8 gen 2 is one of the one powerful and battery efficient chipset ever.The fact that although it has a smaller battery,It still managed to get almost same battery as teh A54 which has a much inferior chipset

It is interesting to see a comparison of the discharge after different charging currents. for example a unit 20 W, 5 W, 1 W. Compare how phones are discharged after them. Perhaps you need to do several discharges, they say the smartphone lasts longer when charging with a small current

Because, it is designed that way for the people who want flagship experience on compact form factor. Since, it's smaller in size it has less space to accommodate additional slots and bigger battery. On normal usage(social media, e-mails and YT)it gives 7-8 SOT (at low or ~mid brightness)

This is not an appropriate real world battery drain test. These phones do not last more than 7hrs (SoT) in real life. I have them, I can attest to it.

The upgrade in battery life between the S22 line and the S23, especially for the smaller phones, is ridiculous. The Exynos chip was really a mess and I'm glad Samsung had the common sense to move back to Snapdragon chips.

11 hrs. Not at all possible. I'm using s23 ultra and very light usage and getting max 8 hrs and that too in wi-fi, turned off AOD, Location and few battery drain features
