Samsung also seem to differentiate premium from mid ranger with screen size. If you want compact premium phone there is only S series while A series have bigger screens 6.4 or 6.6. I wish Samsung introduced compact A series phone like iPhone mini with bigger battery and without wireless charging. For example Samsung A01 had 5.7 screen but it was too limited.

Nice video, thanks. I’m waiting for the A55 to arrive for my son. I was quite divided between the Samsung and the nothing 2a but got the Samsung because he inherited my galaxy watch 5 so a better integration is always nice. I played with the A54 a few months ago but found it quite sluggish, looks like the chip is definitely better now. I only paid £265 from Amazon UK which is a massive bargain 😊

Yes, I’ve already see the performance of the new chip and I can say that E1480 is not the successor of E1380 it feels like a new era or literally different chip at least for midrange chip and also I agree it feels like a flagship from year 2019-2020(Samsung). About the display as a person who use phone in natural mode, unsaturated didn’t bother me.

Exynos 1480 is not even close to the flagship chips of 2021 , it is approximately at the level of Snap 865 ,Mid-level chips are Dimensity 8100 and 7 Gen 3 and they are much faster than Exinos 1480

10:50 The A55 is not close to the Pixel 7 at all, because the pgo scores are at the level of 1470/3800 points, the Pixel BA, for example, scores 1470/3450, and even the S21 FE scores 1310/3560.

Nice review, I have the same issue regarding the dull colors on my A55, I basically said the same thing regarding the issue, why is samsung forcing this dull muted color screen on everyone rather than making it an option. They fixed it with the S24 series by adding a vivid slider, I hope they do the same for the A55.

09:26 what's that, the same as on the a54, no mention of that???😂 The 8 or 6 gb is the biggest difference in performance, everything else is really minor, a bit of change in the design (aluminum body). Last year the exact same story, at least then there was a real upgrade in performance and that was no accident. But I like the video, thanks for that!🙏👍

A55 camera after one UI 6.1 seems great. No issues with colours. I do have camera assistant set on picture softening on. Gets rid of that typical phone ocer sharpening

Nice review. I think i would stick to my A54 5g bought it last year and 1 for my mrs. Had no problems with it at all. Looks like premiium works fine for me. Dont think I'll be upgrading for at least next 2 to 3 years.

s21 is smoother, s21 has better animations feels much more fulient , has better camera , more beautiful display , more powerful chipset Snapdragon 888 , samsung optimizes their S series phones more then other A series or M series , S series is much more optimized . with oneUI 6.1 it feels much more smoother .

I think that the a54 just needs a 6.1 software update cause the 6.0 is holding it back and i dont think its the processors fault theyre almost the same
