I don't care for any of the S series because no SD Card support. Somebody should make SD Card adaptor for these phones. Most of us have no use for dual sim. An adaptor for that second slot would be awesome.

A71 for 4 years, same here, still thinking between A55 and S23🫣 - April, update. I bought A55 and it's quite good actually, it'll be my next 4-year-cellphone. - May, update again. still miss A series, prefer the longer screen and lighter weight, but the appearance, storage and battery remains are doing well.

I had the S20 FE previously, which got stolen just weeks before my contract was due for upgrade. I had to request an early upgrade, and ended up with the A55 (until the insurance matter gets resolved)...apart from the better battery life; premium feel and storage of the A55 (8GB/256GB variant) compared to the S20 FE, I truly miss my S20 FE. So much so that they're both the Navy colorways.

If you have no laptop or PC . Go for the S. you can use it as Phone and a PC when you're at home or doing work that requires bigger screen keybaord and mouse. ^_^

@@pneuma6421 It's not about storage size. It's about secure storage. If the phone falls into water, or gets bricked, or dies for whatever reason, you've lost all of your photos and videos and everything. Recovery services are expensive and there's no guarantee that it will be successful. However, if you save everything on the MicroSD card by default, you just pop out the card and you have all your precious memories on it.

​@@pneuma6421If someone is looking for a microsd card, then a 256gb phone won't be enough. You don't get 256gb out of the box and future updates will also eat into the storage. Even I would prefer a 1Tb internal+microsd card option. No need to babysit the storage.

Remember how the A52S was the last A series with a jack? Wait till they do the same thing to the card slot. Funny how Samsung still makes sd cards but you can't use them with S series flagships. 😂

I still got the Galaxy s10. Is the a55 better? Im looking mainly for a better camera, with a bigger display and at least 256gb and dont wanna pay more than 500-600

i would say so, yeah. personally though i would recommend getting an s23 plus instead, just not one from amazon. a55 has a better battery for sure, but i don't think it has a better camera. otherwise, you could get either a oneplus 12r or an s21 ultra. avoid the s22 ultra though.

another suggestion is the pixel 8a or pixel 7 pro. the 8a is not yet out, but it will come out within the next 3-6 months so keep an eye on that. otherwise, just get a 7 pro.

@ mainly just comes down to their chipsets. something about s22 ultra having less battery life and heating issues even during casual usage. i have the s21 ultra (US) version, and i have had no such issues.

s23 most definetly, s23 fe is not worth it anymore and you should probably wait for s24 fe because s23 fe has gorilla glass 5 while the cheaper a55 has victus+, a55 is good if u want a budget and good phone.

A21s being almost a budget phone, the best upgrade for you maybe the Galaxy A35/55 or maybe an S23FE if you can afford it.

I'd buy the S22. You can get an excellent condition refurbished one for around the same price as an A55. But the S22 being a flagship has 8k video, 30 times zoom & better night pics, a faster processor, wireless & reverse wireless charging, higher water resistance, and an adaptive 120hz refresh rate. It's OS won't get outdated till the 2027 update & won't miss security updates till 2028. The only reason to choose the A55 is the extra battery life (20% longer).

I was thinking of getting the s23 or 24. But ended up getting the A55 because of the price. 😂 If you're not gonna gonna look in depth and knit pick on it you wouldn't even notice the differences. Battery is good camera is good. Everything works fine plus HALF THE PRICE. 😅

@jSen-ro1ou well I got the s23, because of snapdragon and reliability. The a55 while cheaper has exynos, which isn't as good snapdragon and also the sd8 gen 2 is obviously faster than exynos 1480. I am super happy about my purchase, I hope you are too.

Listen to me carefully... There no differnece if your not editing but there is a different when your using lightroom. S23 will shine everything as a DSLR. A50 are basic camera like Canon budget cameras You bought the wrong phone saying who need to buy something that expensive. If you know how to use the cameras then S23 will be better but if you dont know how to use the cameras just be like oh i just wanna take picture not edit or change setting, ofcourse a50 cause it just look the same. I have the S23 if you look through my picture, you were probably sell your A52 after you saw my picture.
