The "FE" should have been included throughout the video instead of just labeling it "S23". And the picture used for the S23 FE looks more like a regular S24 with an Onyx Black colorway, an option not available for the S23 FE, which leans more towards pastel color designs. While this might not matter for most, it could be confusing for those who are going to watch this video to know more about the already very confusing Samsung lineup.

I think the A55/35 camera shortcomings could be mitigated with technique. Fe23 is a better snapper. Kinda lean into the A35 overall value. Very nice comparison. Thank you!

Funny how phone reviews today are heavily focused on camera capability. It is basically a must in todays socmed centered generation. I just find it odd that less than half of the reviews about the phone base capability like screen refresh rate, screen glare, baterry efficiency, connectivity and especially useabilityand not excessive tech mumbo jumbo meant just to fill the vid reel...kinda tick in th3 box.

Bought S22 in Oct-2022 for 50,000 INR. Now on Sept-2024 Accidentally phone fall & screen+back glass repair at Sam service center costing 16K. Instead Bought A15-5g for 18K. I'm not happy with camera but supper happy with battery life of my A15. Software wise Ui 6.1 is similar on both phones. After much search, Local repair for S22 costed me 6000 INR.

I think the A35 is the best value overall and makes the most sense. The difference in performance between the A35 and A55 isnt really that much and your not really going to be buying a galaxy A series phone if you are a true power user anyway. You've shown the cameras are on par and all have thier strong and weak points and the displays between the A55 and A35 are literally the same. Ive been using the galaxy A53 since launch as i got a great deal with the buds included. Phone has been laggy on occasions but Its been a good phone which has got better with updates over time. I love that samsung provides 5 years with all these devices I think A35 will be my next purchase once i find a decent offer.

Slipped the A54 which is still the best mid range and can everything the S13 does at half the cost. The s23 is like, idk, 0.3 faster. All day use it's not even noticeable. Dual slim, SD slot for 1 tb of memory

None of those mid-rangers can touch the S23 fe for speed and camera, however Sammy came a long way on build quality. Since the S23 fe shares the same cameras as the vanilla S23, and has very similar build, it's normal to call it the S23. We have both phones here. My bro has the vanilla S23 and I have the fe. For the new discounted prices in NA you'd have a hard time finding a smartphone that can über the S23 fe. Thanks Versus

When comparing batteries, I think you should also address the screen-on-time with various use cases. While the S23 FE is the smallest in battery capacity, it's not always mean that it has a shorter life because it has a more efficient SOC compared to, let say, the A15 or A35. Screen-on-time and screen-off-time also need to be mentioned since some SOCs may be more powerful in heavy use case while the other offer better idle time efficiency.

Has a few bugs here and there but nothing a future update can't fix, speakers are great, haptics are meh, camera well haven't tried it out but the video capturing surely is nearing the gap with the iphones, its good imo and im typing this comment with one, owned the A51 and it got stolen so yea so far this is one is going well and since the a51 was a working well for 3 years i expevt more from this. You've left out The A54. Which I'd put slightly behind the S23 . A54 is still better than the 55. I don't know what they were thinking with that.. Side by side the s23 bs A54. The s23 is a little faster, but the A54 isn't slow at all.. The mid ranger can. Do everything the s23 does at less then half the cost plus dual sum, for 2 lines and a SD slot which I have 1 Tb of memory

Your stabilisation test is unfair. The phones closes to the handle have to work less. A two handed frame would be better or event better, a repeatable test like a vibration plate or riding the same bike over a cobbled street etc

I recently purchased the FE. Very capable cameras especially in zoom. No comparison with midrange. But, judging by the photos, I believe the best option among cheaper Samsung line is the A35. Hands down 😊

They've gone far in terms of making the phones appear the same in size and almost everything. From being apart in sizes to now being the same. Also in performance too. They're all not that far off, unlike their predecessors. I'm also glad Samsung reduced the size of the A15, from where it would've been a brick like the A14 back then. A series is now evergreen.
