I've had the A70 for a few days now, my previous phone was a Galaxy s5 Mini with android 6. I absolutely love this phone so far, and because it's such a big upgrade i noticed no problems with this phone at all.

@@jokast8861 still with me! Using it right now. I've been using it pretty intensely, 10h a day isn't that uncommon for me and if definitely wasn't during quarantine. A few noteworthy things: I did spend some money on repairs for a problem not caused by me, a faulty connector. But besides one faulty part (and a screen repair but that was just my fault) everything works just fine. Battery life is still good, sometimes the phone does slow down due to heavy usage but clearing RAM once in a while is enough to fix that. The camera's not *that* amazing, but it's a very decent camera for the price I paid. Biometrics still work fine too. It's large, but after you get used to it you don't even notice the size as long as it fits in your pocket. It's also decently sturdy, it took one very, VERY ugly drop to break the screen and it' has also survived falling into lukewarm/hot water. All in all this phone has been terrific, it was exactly what I needed after the s5 Mini. But it's already 3 years old. If you're looking to buy a phone, I could probably recommend an A71 or A72. They're essentially upgraded variants, and will last a bit longer than a 2019 A70.

@@user-wc3wu2mx3m okay.. thx for the "very" long reply hahaha. I bought my A70 on 16 July 2019, luckily i never had any repairs done at all as im a very careful user haha. My A70 is still in great condition but only problem i felt, was the battery starts to degrade (abt 8 hrs screen time) Btw im a proud user of A70 and will keep it as long as it could survive! Cus its a 2019 phone, might be anciently cool as it's from an old decade era phone if i still keep it in future.. So I hv decided to use my A70 for min of exactly 3 yrs or might keep longer. Will try to hit 4 yr mark (lets go!) Btw A71 or A72 are alrdy outdated if you're aware. A73 is the latest sequel btw. I'll only upgrade to newer samsung A series or midrange if it alrdy support wireless charging and 45 watt charging. If not, i will just upgrade to samsung flagship in future for a big upgrade!! Im from indonesia btw, where are you from??

@@jokast8861 haha yeah, sorry for the wall of text lol. I didn't know the A73 was out already. It's been a while since I've done research on phones. I also intend to keep my phone as long as possible. Not sure what comes after the A70, that depends on my situation and the situation of the market when the time comes. But I'll see how long I can keep it. I'm at 2.5 years now (06-11-2019 IIRC), so far so good :) I'm from the Netherlands btw!

I just received the latest software update for the A70 that makes the finger print sensor and touch screen very fast. You can also go to settings, then display and switch on touch improvement for screen cover. Now a nice phone.

My only problem with this phone: I still have no excuse to replace it! Right now it's still working fine after more than 4 years! The power button doesnt snap back anymore when pressed but still works fine. Other than that there are no other issues. Battery works the same as the first I bought it: charges fasts, drains slow. I wonder if we could still find a midrange phone snapdragon like this these days 🤔

if you mention the gpu stability and overall stability you will find that 10% A50 gpu will reduce quick while the A70 keeping the performance as much as possible. it's the snapdragon rule

Yep, because A50 has smaller midplate for heat dissipation compared to A70, it's basically thermal throttling also depends on ambient temps.

Excellent video, informative and interesting. I don't own this phone nor am I looking to buy it but I enjoy learning and comparing specs for my next purchase or to be able to help somebody else with their choices. Most side to side comparisons only matter if you're going to be taking photos that you are going to display because No One Compares side to side performance of the photos they take. Once again very interesting and informative, you have a friend in Columbus Ohio!

I love mine! I wanted a big screen and I find phones that are too slim and light are hard to hold with arthritic hands. It is heavier but I can't text with my thumbs so I love the one fingered keyboard. All in all, it's a huge improvement on my old iPhone 5s and easy to navigate!!

When you hold your phone your thumb isn't straight like holding a key but a bit sideways. So scan your thumb for multiple fingerprints for a higher chance of unlocking on the first try

Indeed. I last changed phone in January this year. From my s8 to the Huawei honor v20 and have not looked back. Has everything I need and more. Got my s8 and an iPhone 7 still about the house gathering dust. The midrange devices nowadays are so good.

Bought the A70 on June 13, and it really is great for a mid ranged phone. Really fast, didn’t experience any lag. Although the fingerprint sensor is pretty tedious. The face recognition is really good, charges really fast, included headset is good, games look pretty good because of the display. Overall, it’s worth buying for.

I'm having issues with my A70. I've not been able to receive calls or texts and returned the same to my dealer who told me that it was a sim card issue, in that I needed to get a 4G enabled one. I did so and the problem seemed to have been resolved only to resurface two weeks later. I can only see my missed calls and texts once I try calling someone or restart my phone. Any ideas? It's really frustrating!

I tried changing the network mode from lte/3g/2g to 3g/2g,it became 3 bars or full bar BUT when i put it back to lte/3g/2g,still 2 signal Is it factory defect or it can resolve to their next update??😢
